Rachel P- Pier

Pier was taken July 13, 2014 at a pier in St. Augustine, FL. I took this picture with my phone, and the editing I did on it was just enhancing it, and giving it some more shadows, and sharpening it slightly. I think this picture could be better if I had bigger waves crashing in the back, but other than that, I really like the outcome of this picture.

I like how the focus is on the front post of the pier and then the detail of the background just adds on to the photo. I also like the waves crashing in the background. I think the photo could be improved if there were more water in the picture.

I like the setting of this picture and the colors look nice together. However, I feel like you could have taken this photo from a better angle. Either by making it more symmetrical using the poles, or by adding more of the ocean into it. I feel like the overcast looks really good within this picture because of its color and the lighting it creates.

First off, great photo! Perhaps you could have put more of a focus on the beam in the front to emphasis it as the center of your photo. The rust on the beams gives the photo character and texture. I love photos of the beach and this photo makes me feel calm.

I really like this picture. I like the classic under the boardwalk photo. If you could see more of the water. other than that the depth is good and the water looks gorgeous.
