Taylor T- Lake Martin

I took this at Lake Martin over spring break with my Nikon D3200. I edited it by cloning the background so you couldn’t see the construction across the lake. I also used the brightness and contrast and worked with the shadows and highlights.

Matthew O- Retire

I took it at red mountain about two weeks ago during spring break using a tripod and a timer.
I used my Nikon D5200 camera with a 35mm f/1.8 lens.
I edited using layers, levels and color adjustments in photoshop.
I like this photo because of the soft look and dark colors; it is easy on the eyes.

Braxton B- Structure

I took this picture with my dad’s Cannon Rebel T3 while we were heading to a wedding. I have no idea what to call this type of building, so it’s name is simply “Structure”.I think that this picture could have been improved if the coloring of the trees in the lower portion of the picture were not so dark.

Austin K- Lake Lure

The Title of this Image is Lake Lure. This was taken over spring break at Lake Lure NC. This was taken with my iPhone 6.I messed with the Hue and Saturation made it a little bluer. I feel this could have been better by shooting it a sunrise-sunset but it turned out very well though.

Hub R.- PJ Hall

I title this image “PJ Hall”. I took this during football season during the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies and the Hoover Buccaneers. I like how I caught a freeze shot of him right after the snap before he engaged in contact with the wide receiver. I made the background black and white while the subject (PJ Hall) is in color and I made some adjustments to make the subject pop. I was pleased with the way the picture turned out.

Kyla H- Cali Love

The title of this is “Cali Love” because i went to cali last week to go to a track meet. This was at the Santa Monica Beach. It was so beautiful! I was taken with my iPhone 5c. I didn’t edit this picture because i liked it the way it was. I would have been better if it was actually taken with a camera.

Zohra P- Not Rose

This picture was taken by me at Ross Bridge. It was taken by my sony cyber shot camera. I edited this picture by changing the color of the flower by darkening it and the background by lighting it. I used hue as well for color and vibrance. To make it better I wish there was more in the picture to play around with.

Desha R- Peace on Earth

This composite is entitled peace on Earth . It is made up of three photos . I kinda made the picture a Bluish tent to represent the earth theme. All photos taken by a sony alpha500.

Colton S.- Sphere within a Sphere

I like Sphere within a Sphere because it is the most unique picture of my whole trip. It is of a metal sphere with another sphere inside of it. Its design is unique and causes many reactions when looking at it. I took this with my iPhone 6 and it is unedited because it is good at is. I learned how to better work with the template and how to stroke the image.

Kristin S- Fading Colors

i took this picture with my cannon xs. my friend and i were just messing around. I cropped the picture and put a black and white filter and added color back to the lips and eyes.

Rachel P- Nightmare

The title of this image is “Nightmare”. I took this picture about a month ago for the close up assignment at work. I did a decent amount of editing on this picture. I added a B&W filter, the used hue and saturation on the eyes to make them red, then I added a yellowish filter on top of all that. Then I added the glow filter to make the eyes stand out even more. Im pretty happy with this picture over all, and I wouldn’t of done anything different.

Jacob M - Inversion

I took this photo over spring break. I used multiple background copies and filters to reach the final product.

Maricela J- Big Ben

I titled the image Big Ben. I took this picture in London during my spring break. It was taken with my canon t5i. To edit the picture i cropped it, adjusted the brightness, contrast, saturation, and added a filter to it.

Justin H - Sorrow

I edited this photo using a number of different levels, curves, and the liquify tool.

Joicelyn R- Paris Romance

Erin R- Have you ever...

I took this picture at the Chipotle on 280 after work one night on Spring Break. i like this photo a lot because it is balanced and it just stands out to me. I titled it “Have you ever…” because the bag has a quote from one of my favorite comedians, Aziz Ansari. I desaturated it a little and lightened it, and i am overall happy with this photo.

Samantha A- Westside

I named this image Westside because that’s what’s on the sign, although I was in the East side of Atlanta when I took this. There was obviously a miscommunication somewhere along the line. I took this with my iPhone 6 over spring break. I edited the image by increasing the saturation to make the colors more vibrant and I also increased the contrast.

michael p- wilson

i call this picture “wilson” the reason i titled the picture that is because thats the brand of the glove. I love taking picture with one of my gloves. i took this a few weeks ago at a soccer field by my house. I like this picture because how the light hits the leather of my glove.

Lara M- Photoblog 8

I took this picture on spring break at some park in Vestavia. I took it with my nikon d3200. I layered the same picture three times and resized two of them and added a black and white effect to one of them and played with the hue and saturation with the other 2. i like this picture, i think its pretty cool. i probably could have made it better if i incorporated more textures and patterns into the composite to make it more abstract and what not.

Kristin S- Future Soldier

This picture is of one of my really good friends. I took these for my english class. Most of the bruises and cuts are makeup and there are some details are added in with photoshop. I lessened the brightness and i upped the contrast.

Noah B- The Mutilated Manipulated Action

I call this photo mutilated manipulated because i mutilated this photo with the sick zwoody skills i have and manipulated it with very saturated colors which ISNT original what so ever. What I’m trying to get out of ya when you look at this photo is feel the pain and agony that this photo is giving off. And then i want you to leave one comment for one tear, for matthew who was died instantly when he was getting out of this window of the abandoned house in god who knows where. I don’t know how it could be better, it is the perfect photo and its in its final form which is insane.

Hunter F- Nestle

The title of this photo is Nestle. I took the photo while I was at Bury St. Edmunds with my brother. To edit the photo, I added saturation to the sign near the Nestle’s building, and added brightness to the photo. This photo would be better if it was more clear, but otherwise, it is a good photo.

Kerry M- Feather

This picture is called, “Feather.” I took this at my house during the close-up assignment, with the nikon I use for this class. To edit this I increased the contact and colors. It could of been better if more of the feather was in focus

Natalie S- Eat

This picture was taken over spring break in Orlando. I took it with my digital camera. I edited this picture by adding some saturation and a little bit of contrast. I wanted to add the small details from the pole. I could have edited it differently by taking away the tree next to it or cropping it. Overall I mostly liked the colors the image has.

Abbey S- Spring Break

I took this picture last week over spring break. I took it on my phone using the panorama setting. I edited it with photoshop, I added vibrance and saturation. One side was darker then the other at first so I had to enhance the color then draw on one side to make it even. I love this picture because all of the colors.
