CameronY - Rikka

This image is called Rikka.  I took it at night with my Nikon D50.  The subject of the photo is my anime figure in front of my plasma ball while my camera’s shutter speed was super low.  I edited it by turning shadows down and black point up to give it a super dark background.  I also edited it in photoshop to give it it’s rainbow color.  I took this image for the About Me Project and decided to edit it a bit for the exam.  Honestly very surprised with what I created and I’m very proud of this image.  I feel like it could be a small bit better by not being as fuzzy but I don’t think that takes too much from it.  Overall very happy with this photo.

Antonio K- K

The color is very original. I like the how pieces of light come into the image and contrast from the dark shadow. It gives the image more details.

Kameron M - Shattered Backboard

I call this photo “Shattered Backboard” because thats the name of the shoe featured, it was taken in a hotel room in Nashville with my Canon T7 Rebel. I edited the photo by changing the color and tone and converting to an HDR image. I think it could be better if I lowered the exposure and gamma.

Bryson S - Hubble

This picture is of a desk ornament plasma ball I’ve had for years. To take the picture, I slowed the shutter speed down to 30 seconds, to capture the streams of light in different positions. It created a really cool galaxy looking effect, almost like a Hubble Telescope picture. To edit the picture, I made a rainbow gradient layer and applied it as a color mask. I was really happy with how it came out, and think the bright colors serve to stand out well against the dark background.

Sydney R- Beauty and the Beast

“Beauty and the Beast” shows my two dogs, Chester and Bella. I took this photo at home on my balcony. My sister held a treat in her hand while I took the photo to get him to look towards the lens. To edit I used the Adjustment settings. I increased the brilliance, the exposure, shadows, brightness and contrast, andI also decreased the highlights. I believe that this picture could’ve been improved by having both dogs looking towards the camera lens.

Nema H- Juicy Couture Perfume

The title of the selected image is called Juicy Couture Perfume. It was taken on September 24, 2019 on the dining table. This photo was taken with my Canon camera and I like how it turned out with the dark background. For editing, I used Photoshop and used the tools in it like hue and saturation for the bow color to pop out more, used brightness and contrast to darken the background of the wall and lastly exposure. This picture could be better if I didn’t brighten the design on the perfume bottle which made it look white and not showing well. Also, the left side of it is too darken compare to the other side. Overall, I am happy with the results.

Kara A.- Toby and Lucy

The title of this image is Toby and Lucy. This image was taken at my moms house. It was taken in the backyard. It was taken with my Nixon Coolpix A10. I edited this image to focus more on the dogs. I added a small filter to add more light. This picture could have been focused more. I could have added a better filter. This is a picture of my dog toby and his puppy Lucy. They are very attached to each other and love to play together.

Kaleb E- Mr Mantis

The title of this photo is called Mr Mantis. I took this on my back porch on a cool October morning. It was taken with my rebel t6. I only enhanced it.  It could be better if I did some cropping and change the location.

Sydney R - Bella (Again)

This picture is called Bella (Again). For this picture I took it in my living room in front of a window that had a lot of light shining through. It was taken with my FinePix S2980 camera. For editing I turned the picture black and white, made a color layer to replace the color of her eyes, used Sharpener Pro 3, contrast, and a brightness layer. I don’t think this photo could be any better, I love it already as it is. By the way, it took forever to get her to lay down and stay in a spot where I could take a good shot.

Kaitlyn R- The Feature

This image is called “The Feature” and I took this image in the living on October 1, 2019. I used a Canon camera to take this image. I used photoshop to edit this image, and I had made the lighting of the image a little darker to bring out the light of the Christmas lights, and lastly I change the color tone of the white to be a light brown color. It could be better If I focus more on the center of the cards, so you can see the words on the cards. The reason why I name this image the feature is because I used tarot cards in the picture and tarot cards either express something about who you are ,or things that might happen in the feature.

Jerusha K- "2241"

This picture is called “2241” creative right. Anyway this picture was taken right outside my house one cloudy morning before school in early October. I took this picture with a iPhone 7. I edited this picture by making it black and white to make the picture look more dramatic and more prominent; I also increased the exposer and brilliance and I also decreased the saturation and contrast. These changes made the picture look more focused and it brought in some contrast. If were to make these picture better I would fix the balance it looks a little lopsided.

Kevin T - The Light

The title of this image is called “The Light”. This was taken outside of my house on October 2nd.  I took this with my cybershop camera. I edited this by darkening the outside and brightening the light behind the clouds. This could be better if their was more color to it.

Madeline. P- Nicole

This photo was taken In the court yard of Hoover High School. Her name is Nicole and she is from Colombia. The reason I took this picture in school was because it was Hispanic Heritage Month. To edit this photo I use a little bit of brilliance and a little bit of contrast. Also gave I put a little bit of color intensity.
