Bryson S - Hubble

This picture is of a desk ornament plasma ball I’ve had for years. To take the picture, I slowed the shutter speed down to 30 seconds, to capture the streams of light in different positions. It created a really cool galaxy looking effect, almost like a Hubble Telescope picture. To edit the picture, I made a rainbow gradient layer and applied it as a color mask. I was really happy with how it came out, and think the bright colors serve to stand out well against the dark background.

This picture is very nicely taken. The subject of the photo is the only main focus of the picture. The subject is bright and bold while the background id completely black. Also the photo is very well cropped so the=at there isn't too much of the background where the background overshadows the the subject.

This is a very unique picture, I like how the colors are very vibrant. Almost like you can feel them moving. I like how the plasma ball omits the colors. What really attracts me about the picture is how the shutter speed captured the different light positions. Overall this picture is really really cool.

This picture is awesome. I love the color effect on the plasma ball from the slow shutter speed. It really does give some type of galaxy feel to it.

This is a very cool image. I think the color is a small bit too powerful but at the same time it's really cool. It's very original and pretty. Overall cool image and cool editing.

Geat photo. Slowing the shutter down was good because you captured larger areas of light than you would have if you took the picture normally, the color layer makes the details stand out against the black ground. The colors also give your image great contrast against the background.

This picture is really beautiful. I like how you added a rainbow mask to it to make the image look really vibrant. Plus it's nice to know how you took advantage of shutter speed to capture this picture. Really love it.

This photo is really cool! You can definitely tell what is the main subject in the photo and how much focus it is in as well. The main subject is in perfect frame within the center though the subject seems kind of lopped sided. There are a variety of colors in the photo like red, yellow, blue, purple, and green. The photographer used primary and secondary colors to contrast to the black background. I definitely like this photo because of the different colors inside the desk ornament and the way the photographer slowed down the shutter speed.

I really like this picture, the colors look clear and nice and I love how you slowed the shutter speed in order to capture each distinct color clearly. Although there is a slight blur, the exposure is still fine considering what the object was that you were capturing (because it is always moving). I also enjoy the color/ tonal range, the black background to distract the eye from the main subject really makes the image stand out. Overall, I like this image and I would say that it is a keeper!

Really nice and cool picture!! The focus of it is good and clear and mostly the colors are very vibrant which catched my eye the most. I like how you made these colors in the ornament look very real looking thinking that it came with it. Also, the black with these colors look awesome and cool to look at. Focusing on the attachment of the rainbow colors look really good and make it interesting. This image makes me happy with all these colors in it and makes want to have an ornament with all these colors in it. Really nice and Good Job with this work!!!

This is such a cool picture!! I love all of the different colors that are shown!! The focus of the picture is very sharp, making it very appropriate because it outlines the glass ball. I don't think there are too many light or dark areas. I think the lighting is perfect for this picture! I would hang this photo on my wall because it is really cool and out of the ordinary!

I love the bold colors in this images against the black background. The focusing of the image is really well done. The colors you added to the image really completes it. It would be an image I would keep.

This picture is very nice. The photo almost resembles an eye if it was one color. The photo composition and technique seems very thought out. Its nice to see that you but effort into this rather than just pointing and clicking. I honestly think that the rainbow effect takes away from the image as a whole, but it is your own artist choice.

This is such a cool photo! I love the way the colors stand out against the black background. I also love how you slowed the shutter sped so you captured the colors in different positions. I think it could have been a little bit better if you upped the brightness just a tiny bit. Katie G HHS

This is definitely one of my favorite pictures i've seen on here. It looks like it was either taken by a professional or computer generated. I love how much the colors pop. I also like how the subject is the only thing in the picture. It really helps show the colors. This picture sort of reminds me of the iris of an eyeball
