Maddie R- Haley Grace

This image is called Haley Grace. 2 of these images were taken at my house a couple weeks ago and the other image was taken on the 4th of July. These pictures were taken with my Nikon camera and were edited with blending modes. This image might be better with more colors.

Mary B- Mirror Image

This photo is titled “Mirror Image”. I took this photo in a hallway in the school. I took this photo with Mr. Rigsby’s Canon camera. I edited this photo by increasing the color saturation of her clothes to add more vibrance. This photo could be better if it was cleaned up a little more and cropped.

ila h - crystal composite

This image is one of the photos I turned in for the composite assignment. The original photo was taken of some of my crystals for the spring break assignment and the others were from the portrait assignment. All of these photos were taken on my phone and edited in photoshop. The crystal picture has a filter from the Nik Collection and the people were added over using different blending options. I think I could have done better blending the picture of my brother into the blue agate geode, but other than that, I am very happy with this image.

Shae M- Endless Forest

The title of this image is ‘Endless Forest’. I took this photo in my backyard over spring break with my Nikon D3500. I edited it by bringing up the saturation and applying the Nik Collection Sharpener filter to clean the image up. I think if it was clearer/more in focus it would be better. Overall I was pretty happy with this photo.

Logan W- Super

Super is my favorite composite that I made. I took an image of a pyramid on the beach with my phone and put an image of my friend skateboarding (taken with a canon 20d) on the side of the pyramid. I then put a candle (taken by a canon 20d) in the sky to try and add texture. I then actually selected the flame specifically, skewed and enlarged it, then put it back on top of the original position of the flame. I faded the horizon line into the candle to make it look as natural as possible. I really like how this composite came out.

Allie S- Rock

The title of my image is Rock. It was taken on March 23rd at the Mesa Arch in Moab, Utah. It was taken with a Canon Rebel XS. I edited it by bringing up the saturation and by bringing up the brightness of the image. I also brought down the contrast and shadows a little bit. I wish I would have gotten a little bit of a better angle and changed the focus more to the center and not the front.

Makena C- Jak in the Snow

The name of this photo is Jak in the Snow. It was taken in my backyard on the day that it snowed here. I just cropped it a bit, sharpened it, and I turned the brightness up. I wish that snowflake hadn’t blocked his face but there wasn’t much I could do about that.

Valentina R- Dancing Water

There are three separate photos turned into a collage. The first photo that I used as my background was taken at a beautiful nature park where there was a long stream of water with sunspots peaking through the trees. The second photo that I duplicated to connect together to make a larger shape and add more texture to the photo was a  glass vase mounted on the wall at the art museum in Birmingham city. The last photograph was a huge bottle cap that was on a wall next to posters at a pizza restaurant near the moss rock entrance. To edit it, I cut out the vase and bottle cap and had just put multiple of them around the original image. I also changed the layers to multiple, overlay, soft light, ect. To give the collage more depth. All these photos were taken with my Iphone XR, and these photos were all taken when I had been to each individual place for the first time.

Drew B- Flow

This image is called Flow I took this over spring break in Tennessee while me and all my friends were on a hike. I took this photo while scaling down a waterfall with my nikon camera. Mr rigsby helped me edit it and It was edited with more color and made it brighter. I'm not really good with photography i don't know exactly how it could be better.

Amira A- Behind The Sky

The title of this picture is “Behind The Sky”. I took these pictures with my iPhone 6s, all these three pictures I took them in different places. I took the camel picture in my house and the street in front of my house, and the flower I took in the park. I edit the picture with a composite. I just add the flower, camel picture inside the sky and I change the light. To be better, when I take pictures of the sky I have to focus more light on the houses.

Mary Ryan M- Morning Drive

The title of this image is Morning Drive and it is of my friend Martha Claire posing in the drivers side of my car. It was taken earlier this year for the portrait assignment, and it was taken in a neighborhood near her dad’s house. I edited this photo by removing stray hairs and my reflection from the wing mirror. I brightened it up to make the colors in her dress and makeup stand out. I am pretty happy with this photo, but I would have liked it to have been in fae better.

Sasha F- A Dreamy Moon

This picture is called A Dreamy Moon. I thought it was  a really pretty full moon I took it on a Sunday night with my iPhone 11. I didn’t edit it but if I did I would have fixed up the moon a little bit.

Luke F- Dark Sky

This image is called Dark Sky. This image is made up of multiple images that I took of the sky. I put them all together for the composite assignment. They were all taken with my iPhone 11. I edited the images by putting them together and adjusting the opacity with all the images and then adding filters to each one. I think it could be better if the Image was a bit brighter.

Myke E- Eyes in View

I call this image “Eyes in View”. This is one of the collage pictures I made around last week. This was a collage of a butterfly in the flowers and my friend Regan. This was taken with my iPhone 11 because the quality is goated. I edited this with some filters in the Nik collection. I think this was perfectly fine, please let me know what i could have did better.

Joseph K- An Exit From the Abyss

I used different photos and put it onto this exit sign, I unfortunately couldn’t use any other adjustments, because it would oddly lighten certain places in the photo, and that was annoying, but I really enjoy this photo, and I enjoy how weirdly ominous it is. It could definitely be better if I could lighten or darken it a bit more, but overall I like the aesthetic of the photo, and I enjoy making just weird stuff.
