Shae M- Endless Forest

The title of this image is ‘Endless Forest’. I took this photo in my backyard over spring break with my Nikon D3500. I edited it by bringing up the saturation and applying the Nik Collection Sharpener filter to clean the image up. I think if it was clearer/more in focus it would be better. Overall I was pretty happy with this photo.

I really like your picture! The depth of field is really nice. I like how you can see the far away treeline and also the close-up tress. The lighting is also cool it gives it a mysterious feel. The colors are also nice I like the different shades of green. It gives a very whimsical feel. Overall I really like your picture.

I am a big fan of pictures that use underexposed lighting to their advantage to add extraordinary interest value. The loops of neon really pop out in the blackness around them, and I also love the backdrop of you holding them. The changing of lighting that surrounds you and then shifts throughout the photo as it gets closer to the neon loops adds a beautiful touch to the image. I thought your framing was good, you captured the essence of the photo without leaving any super distracting elements or materials. The centering of the neon with contrasts from your dark silhouette in the background with a nice overall shadow leaves the picture very balanced and neat. The photo is very good to me, I believe that you harnessed the elements of the underexposure to create a balanced and exciting picture. Great job!
