Arisha L- Nike

I took this picture at my doorstep of my brother's shoes. I brightened the colors of his shoes so they would stand out and i contrasted the picture.

Mariah M- Mustangs

This Picture is a picture I took at the Barbers Motor Speedway Porshe 250 race. I was sitting at Jared's car and thought that this was a cool picture, one thing that I wish I could change would be taking it on a camera! I also would like the people in the back gone. But I love the 2011 mustangs which is the second one, the black one next to the blue!

Emily W- Red Plant

I took this picture over spring break at Callaway Gardens in Georgia. I adjusted the levels, brightness, contrast, and selective colors.

Justin H- My Baby Sis

This a picture of my baby sister. It was taken on Easter Sunday. I really like this photo because all of the colors pop out. I also added some posterization to the picture just to give it some detail. Mainly just to make it different.

Daniel L- Under the Bridge

I took this picture under a bridge that is near my house. I turned some of the image to black and white and saturated the color of the spray paint.

Alex D- Jeep

I took this over spring break when me and some friends went off roading. i changed around the saturation of some of the colors and made it so that the sky looked a little more blue since it was cloudy that day.I also changed some of the levels. explanation

Emily B- Wolverine

This picture is one of my favorite composites that i have done all year. I love how all of the colors just go together and how all of the textures really define the image. This is 3 pictures put together: my dog, my grandparent back yard, and a cup of ice. I boosted the contrast, saturated it, used selective color to mess with the colors a little, darkened the edges, and sharpened the picture of the dog. I am really happy with the way this turned out, i wouldn't change anything about it!

Joerdan K- Island of Nassau

I took this from my window in my room on the ship when we were just pulling up to the island of Nassau. I love it because the water is so perfectly turquoise and the hotels in the back just create the perfect scene. I used a warming filter a little bit on the buildings but left the water alone because i like it's natural color best. The only thing i don't like about this picture is that the left side looks kinda blurry, but other than that i like it overall.

Mark L- Jesse Owens

This is a photo I took at the Alabama sports hall of fame of a replica of Jesse Owens. The picture was slightly desaturated, other than that no major editing took place. The picture turned out pretty cool.

Jordan M - April Flower

I took this picture in my front yard early one morning before work. Originally I had decided to not edit the picture at all because of the way it looked straight off the camera. I then decided to split the subject and the background into two layers and edit each separately. For the background I darkened the image and also changed the color balance to make it more green and blue. For the flower, I increased the red tints as well as increasing the Contrast.

Jessica P- Pantry

I took this picture in our pantry for the Still Life assignment. I brightened the entire image, but used a layer mask to particularly brighten the close pins.  I also used the sharpen filter a little for the bottles and things at the bottom.

Brianna B- Dizzy

This is a Kaleidoscopic picture of a mirror in a bathroom at my house. I motion blurred the outer edges and the I did the same to the middle piece separately all with a angle of 20. If I could do anything to change this picture, It would to be make the picture where you could at least hopefully recognize what the photo is without having to read the description. I took this photo a while back during first semester for the Reflection assignment.

Luiza L.- Backyard

This picture was taken in my backyard. I edited it by making the leaves in the background greener and then increasing the overall warmth of the picture to make it more yellow. I also increased the contrast and brightness to make the picture livelier.

Steven F- Angels Fire

This picture is one of my portrait pics for Mr.Riggs, i really love it because its very angelic, and peaceful. I love the hue and warmth of the picture that naturally poured through the curtains of the set. I'm very proud and please with this picture. -Steven Finley

Laura T- Country Home

This photo is called Country Home. I took this during Spring Break when I went to visit my family in Louisiana. My mom and I went out one day to see her grandparents old house in Dubach. To edit this picture I cropped it and increased the saturations to bring out the colors. I like this photo because it reminds me of the history of my family.

Sarah P- Pipe

I took this image over Spring Break at Sloss Furance. I really love this image. This bright color of the pipe really pops against the dark background. To edit this image, I just played around with the levels and increased the brightness and contrast.

Blake E- Melon

OdusS- Light Thinking

Itook this over break , thinking outside relaxing calming kinda mood Odus S- 90s Gold was of me and my friends style, having fun heading out

Darien B- Milkshake

This photograph is titled milkshake. I really like this picture because of all the colors in it. I made the picture black and white then I brought color back to just the milkshake. I also messed around with the hue, saturation, and contrast to get the colors for the the milkshake. I think the picture could have been better if I made the colors a little bit softer.

Danae A - Clarity

This picture was taken over the summer when I had just gotten my DSLR.
It is named Clarity because of the sharpness of the flowers and the clarity of the colors.

Cole G - Foilage

I took this photo of a plant while on vacation in the Grand Canyon National Park. I used the macro setting to capture it up close with a shallow depth of field. I really like how that turned out - sharp where there are bits of leaves and greenery, but blurry as the plant gets more woody and lifeless.

Andie C- Cheshire Cheese

I took this picture while we were in London at the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, apparently there are two of them. This one was rebuilt in 1667 because it burned down in the fire of London. I edited it by cropping it down and making it black and white. I also boosted the contrast and brightened the picture.

Abhay T- Bird

This is a picture of a bird, which I appropriately titled Bird. I do not know what type of bird this is, so if you know you can help me out by telling me. I took this picture when I went to the beach over Spring Break. To edit this photo, I adjusted the levels to make the photo completely brighter. I also adjusted the brightness and contrast to enhance the same effect. I really like how the colours of the sand and the bird go well with each other. If I could make this photo better I would like to essentially have a square of sand around the bird, so the bird could be directly in the middle and centered a little better.

Will C- Goin' Under

I took this picture over spring break by a road with water on either side. Originally I wasn't planning on editing this picture because it was murky and bland. I was nothing to do in class so I decided to see what it would be like in photoshop. I adjusted the levels and it became beautiful. To edit this, I did the normal stuff, along with sharpening it and clone stamping a lot of small little dots out of the picture. Overall I am pleased with how it turned out.

Victoria D- Old Georgia Barn

I took this picture of an old barn in a small town in georgia.  I intensified the colors and darkened and lightened certain areas of the image to make other things pop. if i had to change something about this picture i would try to make more of the little details pop more.

Stephanie P. Downtown

I took this picture for the Architecture assignment. I took this picture downtown of the Johns sign. I really like the colors in this picture and the angle.

Meagan P- Rose

I love this picture! I love the colors in it, how focused it is on the rose and the blurred background.

Landry T- Crosses

This is a picture of 2 crosses in my friends kitchen. I liked the angle of the picture but wish it would have came out a little clearer.

Matt A- Alligator

This is a picture that I took of an alligator on Dauphin Island. He was in a lake on the middle of the island off the beach. I edited it with darkening it and changing the colors around.

Anissa L- Trophy Girl

This is a photo of a trophy that I received a really long time ago. It is actually a composite of the same photo. I just made one blurry with the blur filter and messed with the hue and saturation. I like the way the color of the background was altered and I like how the blurry portion of the picture looks like a close up.

Samantha D- Photoshoot

I took this photo on prom day. Instead of going to prom, I did a photo shoot for my friend at my neighborhood park. This was one of my favorites because i always love to use my macro filter any chance i get.

Jenna S- Georgia Tree

I took this picture at my friends aunt's house in Georgia. I messed with the color and i brightened this picture up some. I really like the way that the colors stand out with each other.

Katie W- Spinning City

Over spring break I went to Children's Hospital to visit my friend who's been very sick lately. While I was there I noticed a lot of neat architecture in the new part of Children's Hospital. There was a big window in the lobby looking over the Birmingham skyline, so I took a picture. Inside of Children's was a big spiral staircase. I got under the staircase and took a picture looking up at a big dome window in the ceiling. I combined these two images. I overlaid the staircase with the Birmingham skyline, and decreased the opacity of the staircase. If I could change anything about this picture it would be that the images themselves would've been taken with my Cannon camera instead of my iPhone.

Ryan T- Pelican

I took this picture on vacation in Memphis, Tennessee in the Memphis Zoo.  These pelicans were just hanging out in they're habitat.  I brighten the picture and use saturation in this picture.  I've also curved the picture at it's brightness to make it presentable.

Madison V- Horse Ride

I took this photo while I was riding horses with a friend.  I increased the saturation and enhanced the brightness in the photo.  I really like how the picture turned out.

Mary L- Flamingo

I took this picture during spring break. I edited this picture in photoshop by first cropping the picture then turing it into black and white. I then added back the color to the flamingos. I really like the contrast of the black and pink which makes it stand out.

Taylor S- Beach Life

I chose this picture because i love the view and i love how the sunset reflects on the water. I didn't edit this picture i just took it as is. I love how on the outside of the water it's kinda dark and in the middle of the sunset it's bright.

Alyssa Y- YETTI CROSSINGS

I took this picture when I went hiking over spring break. The hiker sign looked like a yeti and it made me laugh. I edited this picture by enhancing the contrast and brightness. I also used a blur filter on the background to put focus on the sign.

Vanessa A- Peacock

this picture is of a peacock that i saw at the zoo and i like this types of animals
especially when they spread their feathers.

Reed W- Big Ben

I took this picture in London during spring break. I boosted the contrast and touched up the sky to make it a little blue.

Katelyn H- Buckingham Palace

This picture was taken of Buckingham Palace in London, England over spring break. I like this picture because the architecture of the palace is beautiful and I also liked the colors of the picture.

Kayla B- Red Velvet

I named this picture cupcake because it is a picture of a cupcake. I took this picture at my grandparents house up in Kentucky when I went there over Spring Break. I love red velvet cupcakes so when we went down to a local bakery I got one. To edit this picture I cloned the background to black so that the cupcake would stand out more. This picture could have been better if I cloned the background of the picture a little better. However I like the way this picture turned out.

Reginald K- Reflection Clock

This picture here is a reflection of a grandfather clock. With this picture here, i edited the color, brightened it, and increased the Sharpness and Contrast. It took a while to get a picture this because the photo would come out blurry. Overall, I'm happy with this picture.

Lakeshia B- Warm Sky

I was outside when the sky was setting and thought that it just looked so beautiful. So i got shotes of  the clouds over the sun. All i did was play with the light level. I wish i took this image at a different angle.
