Madalyn M- Flower

This is a picture of a flower I got at my great aunts funeral. I used my iPhone 8 to take this. I edited it by turing up the intensity and down the neutrals and tone. I would change it by making the background better.

Hillary A- Flip the Switch

This is Morgen. I took this picture a while ago but edited it like last week and I thought that it turned out cool. I used the photoshop thing on the computer.

Kirsten W- Division

This picture is titled “Division” as the three crumpled papers stacked into a small pyramid, symbolizing the way in which good can be found in simple things, even among those which are evil. I took this picture during the Still Life assignment in the studio and used it as my manipulated image. I edited this image by increasing the black point and lowering the contrast of the picture. I then took my image into photoshop and used the drawing tool to draw red devil horns and outlines on the bottom two paper balls, while also using yellow to draw a halo and an outline surrounding the top paper ball.

Daniel T- Muted

I named this picture “Muted” because the black and white color scheme is very muted but there is also a trombone mute in the photo. I took it in the band room with my iPhone. I wish I had gotten the music notes a little more in focus.

Hayden M - Tree Coaster

This picture is of the trees in Colorado. I took this with my GoPro Hero 7 in photo mode. I was on one of those roller coasters that you control yourself and it was pretty fun, I did it about 10 times lol. I like the fisheye lens look is has. I just edited it to make the colors brighter and pop more.

Stephen M- Roses are Red

This is the Picture I’d used and it is a rose flower mainly because well …. It was valentine week so I was like let me take a photo of it and I did and I brightened it on my camera even though the flash was on made it so crispy so what I did to it was edit it darkened it and put contrast on it to bring out the redness of it to bring it out more and then cleaned up anything that was with any spot or anything. this concludes the story of valentines rose day

Chris R - Terrors of the Basement

This composite is by far the scariest thing you will ever see. I took the goose photo with a Canon Rebel T1i, and the staircase photo with my iPhone 5s.

Jake D- Try and Try Again

I call this photo Try and Try Again because I feel like lots of people can relate to it. This photo is supposed to represent writing a paper but not knowing where to start. But all you have to do it think about it more and try again. To edit this picture I first used Photos and then photoshop. I edited the curves, levels, and added a few filters from the Nik Collection. Personally, I would not change anything about this picture.

Kat C- Double Look

The title of this photo is Double Look and I chose this name because of the way she sees herself and the way others see her. The image is supposed to show two versions of her. I took this image with my phone and I edited the brightness, contrast, and sharpness of the image. I also blurred out some minor details. I wanted to show her smiling and looking away from her image to see my point of view. This picture was taken in the bathroom.

Faye M- Lost My Place

The image I chose is called ‘Lost my Place’ because the book is opened to a page and whoever had been reading it had left it there and lost their place. I took it at the abandoned Pioneer Village in Florida sometime in December and I took the picture with my phone. In terms of editing, I increased the definition, saturation and I added a vignette in order to push the focus more towards the book. I’m happy with the result but I feel like it could have been better if I used a better camera.

Grace R- Manipulated

This photo was taken in my bedroom using an orange t-shirt as a background. It was taken with my Panasonic DMZ-FZ70. I edited it a lot, first with basic adjustments then by duplicating the photo in Photoshop into a 3x3 grid. I then made a circular selection and inverted the colors. I then selected and inverted again to make a smaller circle. I think the picture could be better if it was more in focus and the oranges were more neatly arranged. I really liked making this picture and think it turned out really interesting.

Devon H- Time

This image is called Time and the reason I chose this picture is because of the quote I put on it this quote means a lot to me and the reason is because I would always complain about wasting time but I enjoyed it while it lasted like for example I had one of the worst relationships ever I enjoyed it while it lasted so I feel like it wasn’t a waste because it mad me happy at that point and taught me new things that’s what the quote means really it’s actually very simple and I edited th photo with Nik collection took it with my iPhone xr

Alyshan A - Composite

I have this picture of my car from a while ago. I used that picture and layered it along with some bushes. I took the bushes and added some composite features. I played around with the light settings until it gave me the right amount of each image I want. Uh..yeah that’s it.

Katie H- Tie-dye

The title of this image is called “Tie-dye”. This was taken at the beach during the summer. I was taking senior portraits for my cousin. It was taken with a Nikon camera. I edited it by using the original photo and cutting my cousin out of it and placing it of the tie-dye background. It could be better if I sharpened up the edges a little bit more.

Jennifer L- Untitled

This picture was taken like a few months ago at my house and it was taken with my Canon T5 camera. I edited it by doing some adjustments in photoshop just by adding some brightness and adding a lot of contrast. It could be better maybe if the rose wasn’t so bright red but I love the way all of the details showed up and how focused it is. I wouldn’t change anything about it.

Aundrea A. - Trippy

The title of this image is Trippy. This picture was taken on February 8th when I got home from school. This picture was taken with my iPhone XR camera. I edited it by using the retouch tool, using the black and white filter, and then changing the red and blue filters in the channel mixer. It could be better if the picture was sharper and a little bit brighter.

Spencer B- Darkness Unfolds into Light

The title of my image is Darkness Unfolds into Light. It was taken in the school courtyard. I Took it on my cell phone camera, and I edited it by adding a back and white filter.i focused darkness around the flower to direct your attention on the beauty it represents.

Mitch J - Church

This Photo was taken on the roof of a church looking down and I think it turned out really well.

Hudson C- Trip

The image is called Trip. It was taken over Christmas break on a trail in my neighborhood. It was taken with an iPhone XR. I edited it in photoshop to change the shape of the power lines and change some colors. It could have been better if the colors were more vibrant. I like this photo because it has a lot of things I like in one image.

Emilee G- Salty

This photo is called “Salty,” and it was taken of salt water taffy a few weeks ago for a still life assignment. I edited this photo by sharpening it and adjusting the contrast and saturation. I really like this photo because of all the bright colors, and I think it has a really happy feeling surrounding it.

Erika P- Icy

This picture is titled “Icy”, because it was taken of my friend’s eye which is so blue it looks almost icy. It was taken in the morning when the sun was shining onto his eye. It was also taken with my iPhone 7. I edited it by smoothing it a bit and increasing the saturation of his eye. I think it could be better if it wasn’t taken with my phone, because it’s not as good as a regular camera.

Anna Claire H - Whimsical

I took this picture with my cannon Eos rebel xs. This picture was taken in Nashville. It was taken during Christmas break near a place that was selling Christmas tees. I like this photo because of the filters I used. It makes the photo more whimsical.  I wish I could have gotten more of the lights in the shot.

Alexis W- Blazing Sky

The title of my image is Blazing Sky. It was taken in my neighborhood. It was taken on January 11, 2019. It was taken with my iPhone X. I edited it by adding a little brilliance. It could’ve been better if I didn’t taking it while driving.

Adam N- Two Trees

This is a composite of two trees in different location edit in Nik collection.

Hannah R - Tortured Model Pose

This is a picture of my friend Haley and it is one that I edited for the composite assignment. I named it “Tortured Model Pose” because that is what she called the pose that she was doing. It has three pictures layered together, a portrait of her, a picture of leaves, and a picture of candle light. I messed with the colors to make her less saturated and the background more bright and redish. I’m pretty happy with the results.

Ashley D- Golden

This image “Golden” has multiple parts. First I made my background using construction paper. This was scanned and my composite was made using a picture of, my best friend, Olivia. I then printed it out again so I could add gold detail. Instead of scanning the final image, I took a picture of it using my Canon t6. This image really just reminds me of a dreamy state. If I could change anything, I would have  liked to have taken a more clear picture of Olivia because she came out fuzzy. Other then that, I really love this image.

Chris R - Banished Ghost

This is a picture of a lego set I got last year. I will try to have the camera focus on the whole model next time.

Dontreal L - Me

This s a photo of me and I put the photo in Nik collection and I think I’m ugly but who knows.

Ethan D- Untitled

I took this photo on my phone. I edited it on my snapchat and made it black and white.

Kelsey M- Your "Balance"

No statement provided.

Jaylin R- Chilling

This image is from a recent assignment in class and I took a picture of my mom off guard. She was not happy at all about the image after I took it because its all natural, meaning no make-up.

Nicholas L. - Footprints

I named this picture Footprints.  I was up in Michigan at my Aunt’s and Uncle’s house where they live on a lake.  The lake happened to be frozen when I was up there so I took some steps through the snow and then made my way back to the starting point and took the picture.  I didn’t do much to edit this and just darkened it to make the footprints a small but more visible.

Trevion C. - Relaxation

The title of this image is Relaxation. The image was taken on my Grandma’s couch in Portland, OR. For this image, I didn’t do any edits and it taken on my iPhone.

Skylar J - Yellow

The title of my image is Yellow. This was taken behind the school on the trail around a month ago. This was taken with my iPhone 7 camera. I edited it by using the Nik Collection along with some saturation and contrast to bring out the yellow color of the leaves. I could be better if the photo was more wide.

Morgan H - Hooking Claw

This photo is of my cat, Riley. He is hooking his claw into my sheets and I took this over the holiday break. I edited the image by spot patching specific areas and then adding an auto selected filter from photoshop. I believe the image could be better if I had brighter lighting and if I was closer to Riley.

Vladimir S- Coca Cola

I named this picture Coca Cola it was taken in a car. I forgot where I got the coke from somewhere but I forgot the store I know its from a different country though but I don’t know which one.

Alyshan A - School

This is a picture of the school. I took this picture a couple weeks before the winter break. I did not do much editing to it. I adjusted aspects of the color to give it a slightly duller look. I wanted to make sure the sun was the one element which caused everything to pop. I wanted the sky to be the focus and the building and ground to be an extra thing for aesthetics. I adjusted the contrast a bit to make sure there is more emphasis on the bright sky. I think by cropping the image a bit could possibly make it better because it might allow for emphasis on the sky area. Crop from the right side most likely.

Tyler W- Breakfast and Belle

This is a photo of my car Belle. This was taken this morning in my garage as I was warming the car. I took this picture with My iPhone Xr. This photo was edited using photoshop to increase color and erase some paint chips on my wheel. I couldn’t erase the large amount of curb rash, though. Btw, car is for sale. Serious inquiries only.

Yovani T The Brightside

The title of my image is The Bright side. I took the picture when I was going to one of my cousins house In Verbena I pulled over on the freeway and took the picture. I edited the picture using Colorefex pro. I think it could be better if there was a little bit more contrast on the landscape section.

Katie N- Reflections

I call this picture “reflections” because the picture is the reflection of a river. It was taken at Tannehill last week. It was taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T6. I edited it by making it black and white, and adding a bit of grain to it. I don’t really know how I could Make it better.

Sade' W.- Madre Silhouette

This picture was taken if my mom a few days ago. We were taking in the kitchen and there was so much light in the room so I wanted to take the opportunity to take a picture of her. The picture was taken with a iPhone 8. I edited this picture on vsco with the filter F2 and I brought the exposure down to -4.7. I feel like this picture could be better with better editing. I would of loved to edit the picture on the Mac desktop because I just love that editor.

Ramzi M- Myrtle Beach

I took this photo in south Carolina myrtle beach over the summer. It was taken with my iPhone 6, I did not edit it and it could be better if I had a better device.

Marc T- Polaroid

The name of my image is called polaroid it was taken on Christmas at my great grandma house. The photo was taken by an iPhone 7 and it was not edited. My background could have been better and I really like that hoodie.
