Reed W- Big Ben

I took this picture in London during spring break. I boosted the contrast and touched up the sky to make it a little blue.

This is a beautiful picture!

I love the the clarity of the colors and the sharpness of the details.

The angle of the picture makes it different and interesting; I love the perspective and the slope of the left side of the building.

One thing I would change however is the cropping of the picture. I don't particularly like how the left side of the picture has so much weight since the main subject is the rightmost clock face. To remedy that, I would crop the left side in very close.

Another thing I would personally change is add more texture in the clouds with a small feathered brush in the color of the light blue in the top left. I like the slight blue of the sky, and I think it would look great if the texture was extended around the tower.

Great picture! Good job!

I really like this picture. I like how you boosted the contrast in the picture because it makes the picture much sharper. I also like how you made the sky a little blue to give it some color. I would have personally made the sky more blue but other than that you did a great job.

Reed,
I absolutely love your picture of the Big Ben. My favorite part of the image is the contrast between the actual tower and the sky. The subject is in very good focus and each detail is clearly visible. I also like the angle the photo was taken in because it gives the subject a more 3 dimensional quality.
