Sydney R - Bella (Again)

This picture is called Bella (Again). For this picture I took it in my living room in front of a window that had a lot of light shining through. It was taken with my FinePix S2980 camera. For editing I turned the picture black and white, made a color layer to replace the color of her eyes, used Sharpener Pro 3, contrast, and a brightness layer. I don’t think this photo could be any better, I love it already as it is. By the way, it took forever to get her to lay down and stay in a spot where I could take a good shot.

This photo is so good. I love the way the photo is in all black and white but the eyes are the only think that has color. The photo is cropped so well being that that the subject is the only thing in this photo. There is no excess space in the photo.

This is a really nice photo! The contrast in your doggie's eyes is beautiful, and the detail is definitely there! I know exactly how hard it is to try and capture your pets in a nice photo, so props to you for doing it!

Nice picture! Your focus is great and I can tell the hair of Bella very clearly. I love how you decided to leave only Bella's eyes colored and the rest in black and white. It gives it an aesthetic feel and her eyes seem clear and reflective. This is definitely a keeper because she is centered and her eyes are so popping and bright.

I love this picture because of the contrast in the colors to the black and white background. I think that focusing on the chocolate eyes and enhancing the colors was a phenomenal choice and it really brought the photo to an entirely new level. Overall this was a great picture with a lot of character and dimension.

This photo is really nice! I like the close up given to the dog's face, though there are some areas that seem a bit over exposed. The subject is in perfect focus and can be seen very clearly. This almost reminds me of a commercial. The subject is centered perfectly within the rule of thirds and works well with the lighting. I feel happy when I see this photo because I love dogs. It also seems the photographer's favorite subject is her dog.

An awesome and cute picture! I really like how everything but the eyes are black and white. You did a very good job and just giving the eyes the main color. Great picture! Good job!›

This an exquisite image. I greatly enjoy the contrast of the dark color of the fur to the shiny reflections off the fur. This picture is both creative and simplistic with its design and execution. I enjoy how the picture is entirely in black and white except the eyes. It is as if the viewer can see straight into the dog's soul.

I really like this photo, I think it looks really cool how it is in black and white with the eyes being colored, your dog Bella is really adorable and you did a great job with it. The focus of the image is really nice and there are no unclear spots of the main object in the photo, there is also a good balance of the dark and light areas of the dog's fur, although it is in black and white you can tell where it is darker or lighter in certain areas. Overall I love this image I think it is one that could be printed and mounted on a wall.

This is a great photo, I like the black and white and how the eyes are the only thing colored. The color draws attention to the eyes as soon as you look at this picture. The contrast of the image is really good there are no murky areas of the fur, also her fur and nose are really detailed. Overall this is a really good photo and I would keep this.

This is an incredible photo! I loved the choice of black and white but with the eyes in color. The details and focus are awesome and they really bring the whole photo together. You did an amazing job and I wish I had the patience to get a cool photo like this.

WOW! This photograph is extremely eye-catching! I think that filling the entire frame was really effective in drawing the viewers eyes in. I think that the colored eyes contrasting with the black and white face really attract the viewer's eyes where you want them to go. Having the entire face in focus as well really adds to the photo. This is definitely a keeper.

I love how the dog's eyes look, they have a bright appearance compared to the dark hairs being in the bright natural light. I love how you focus on his face and the angle of the picture along with the lighting and contrast being perfect. Good Job!

I like the focus of this image and that it is nicely focused even though it is so close. In most instances, I do not like centered photos but I like that this image is centered. This photo has a story and makes me wonder things about the photo. Savannah P-R-HHS

I love this image so much. It is so cool looking. The dog could have been a tiny bit centered more. the contrast is amazing. The exposure is great. You used the thirds rule very good.
