Ben D- Parrot

The title of this photo is Parrot. I took this photo in March of 2009 on my old Nikon D60. I increased the saturation a very small amount, and added a small amount of contrast and definition. This photo could be better by getting a better angle of the subject. I took this photo when I was just getting into photography, using the family camera at the time.

The colors in this image are extremely bright and vibrant.I love the way the deep blue off sets from the greenery in the background. I agree with you ablaut the angle though... Also the picture could be strightened but over all it is an amazing picture.

I love this picture! The lighting in this picture is really bright and pretty and really helps all the color stand out. This is slightly off center which is good and you are giving the bird a space in the direction he is looking. I would definitely frame this!

The color in this photo is so bright and goes well together. I just love this picture. I also like how the parrot is focused while the background is blurry, because my focus is just on the parrot and I'm not getting distracted by anything else.

I really love this picture. I love the different colors and the overall brightness of the image. I do agree that you should have experimented with the angle a bit to get the full feel. However, you did a great job with the focus and color texture. Again it is bright and a great capture of nature in its own habitat. Emily D HHS

I love this picture because it's so colorful! I love how the focus of this picture is just the bird and the rest is blurred out. I think the balance is really good. The background is darker then the subject it looks great.

I think this picture looks great because the focus of the picture being the bird is sharper than the background. The background is also simple, does not distract the subject, and the contrast between the two make the bird sting out. Good job!

I think this picture is awesome, the background does not compete with the focus. The choices are far-fetched and reconzied in this photo very much so. This photo can always be improved and having a better angle of the subject is all that can be said in response of change. Great eye for a exceptionally beautiful photo.
