Blake S- Golf Sunset

The title of this picture is “Golf Sunset.” I took this picture on number 9 tee box at Ross Bridge on February 22nd, 2014. The photo was taken with the back camera of an iPhone 5. I edited iy by highlighting it, increasing exposure, increasing contrast, increasing saturation, and increasing the definition. The picture could be better if I used a better camera. This is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.

I really enjoy this photo. It's very well composed and is attractive to the eye. The photo creates a wondrous mood, focusing on the vivid colors of the sky in stark contrast to the darker ground. The photo has a very large depth of field, creating a great landscape image. The exposure is also perfect for the situation. The colors are slightly too vivid in my opinion though. The colors are distracting in the overall environment of the picture. The photo does apply to the rule of thirds extremely well, creating an attractive horizon.

I love how the sky looks in this picture. The colors of the sky look really good. There is a wide depth of field in this picture. The trees in the background could be brighter, though. But the vivid sky is great.

I love the sky in this picture. the fact that the sky is reflecting off the water make this picture really good. The definition in the trees and the landscape over all could be a little better. The colors are fantastic!

The middle and the background really complement each other well. Without the focus, the reflection shown off the lake would not be as clear. The depth of field is wide and it helps expands the feel of the sunset through the whole top of the picture. I think on your iPhone if you would of taken it horizontally instead of vertically, the shot would of been wider and shown more of the sunset. I like this photo because it shows the sunset well and the photographer did a nice job with the reflection onto the lake on the golf course.

The effects and filter really help to highlight the lake and sunset while the colors work really well in context to what is in the background. The trees could be made a little brighter but other than that the photo is great. I like this photo since I love in Ross Bridge and this photo really does it justice.
