Janae J- Candy Apple

The title of the picture is “Candy Apple”. I took this picture on November 1st in the studio. I took several shots of this subject with various lights and from various different angles. It was taken with a Canon t-6. I edited this picture by dodging and burning the light and dark areas of this picture. This photo would be better if the background was a little more consistent, but overall I really like the outcome of this picture.

Cool photo! I really like the coloring and the suspense feeling it gives off. Makes me think of Snow White. Really nice!

This is a great photo. The lighting and contrast in the image really connects everything together. I wish you took of the wrapper if possible and made the apple stand out against the background. You could have also changed the color of the background to be darker and contrast the red of the apple without taking off the wrapper. However, the wrapper and the way you edited it makes the apple stand out against the red in the image. Overall though I think the image and your editing is really good.

I really like the lighting of the photo. One side of the candy apple is colored with red lighting while the other side is colored with regular white lighting. When saw the photo I was surprised that I could clearly see the object with the background and the candy apple being the same color. This photo is really beautiful overall.

I really like this image and the¢ exposure. I like the red on red it makes it suspicious. I think it would've looked good if you had lightened the bottom right corner. Overall this image is really good and I like the aesthetics.

This picture is very red forward, I like it a lot! I think there are a couple things you could do to make it better. There are areas of overexposure which I think could've been fixed in photoshop, and would focus part of the image a little more. Also some areas are underexposed. I think that you could have used the burn and dodge tool to help with that. Other than those two things this image is really really cool. It gives off a really sinister vibe to me. Like the apple is dangerous or something. I would definitely hang this up! Great job!
