This photo is named after my cat, Clover. I took this on my front porch mid August with my Nikon D3300. I edited this photo by increasing the saturation and making the reds pop. I think this photo could have been better if I had centered the chair better in the frame and against the wall. I also wish I could’ve gotten more of her tail into the photo, but I’m afraid if I touched my model she might have left, haha!

The first thing I noticed when I saw this picture was the nice color. Clover's grey coat against the brown of the chair works well and makes her pop out. The composition is also really cool! Clover's head is looking up at something which makes the wonder if she is looking at something above her.

Nice! Pet photos are really cute, and the majority of the time, I'd say they fall under the category of action photography. Its so hard to capture a still image of animals, and you did a great job. I agree with what you said about more tail in the shot, which could only be achieved by photographing from a different angle here, so that can't be helped. I like the bit of distance between the chair and wall, it definitely adds some depth, and makes Clover stand out more. Really nice picture, I've really enjoyed seeing how you capture your pets!

I really like this picture! I especially like the use of colors in the picture. I like how the color of the cat's fur sort of blends with the colors of the wall. I especially like how the colors are similar, but not the same because it shows comparison while also blending. I also like how the color of the chair is brighter and richer than the other colors in the picture. I brings the viewers attention to the center of the photo. The only thing I think I would improve here would be to bring out more of the color of the cat's fur so it would stand out more. I also appreciate how the picture is in sharp focus and the chair brings focus to the cat. The only thing I would do to bring even more focus to the cat would be to crop the picture a little more to keep the main focus on the cat. Other than that, I really liked you picture and the colors that were used!
