Matthew O- Colorless Life

This photo is called Colorless life.
I took this photo on september 27th in a yard near my house. I used my nikon D3100 and edited it with GIMP, Mextures and Photoshop.
The edits were a collection of color and light tweaks that made it just right In my eyes. I worked on the photo for a total of about 3 hours.
I like this photo because the flower is less saturated than would normally appear, and my favorite style of photography is a darker, more mysterious style.

I like this picture and the style you use, it does look mysterious and dark, which i l=really like. i like the dark background and i don't think theres a way you could've make this picture better, maybe just maybe another perspective. Overall i really like this picture in particular and i am amazed by the time you spent working on this, which clearly shows in the final product and the quality!

I really like the contrast in this picture. I love how its dark and looks almost black and white with a few hints of green and purple on the stem. My favorite part about this picture is the focus, its really unique in how its unfocused closer to the camera while the flower is more focused around the middle.

I like the darker tone that is implemented in this picture, as well as the deep contrast between lights and darks. The precision to detail in this photo is incredible, with the detail on the flower and the buds. The darker tone is well used in this photo and makes a great scene for a picture

Overall, I enjoy the theme and creativeness of this photo. Instead of enhancing the colors, as most people would, you effectively contrasted the white flowers with the dark background. I only change I would make would be to focus on keeping the entire flower clear. Part of the left side of the flower is blurry, leaving the focal point of the image not complete detailed.

I really like this picture just by the feel and the mood that it sets. One thing that I would have done would have been to darken the picture just a wee bit.

I like this photo a lot, the focus on the flowers is really nice and the removal of the color sets a very mysterious mood that works perfectly with the setting. You could have left a little more color on the flowers or brightening them a bit, but overall this is a great shot.

this photo is very elegant. i feel like you did a great job with the composition and i love the mood of it! i would put just a little more light on the flowers and darken the background a little bit other than that great job!

The contrasted with the white flowers and the dark background. Only thing i might change would be the focus on keeping the entire flower clear. Part of the picture is blurry, but overall it is a great picture.

This picture interest me, its mysteriosly attractive and foxy. Looks like one of those flowers you'd find in a dark forest or even find in that ladys yard that wears all black, doesnt talk but seems to be going through the "middle aged crisis"...yeah that kind of flower so its cool with me. This photo seems to tell a story and your 3 hours of work repaid you with a billion dollars because it is great just like a unicorn horror movie.
