Lauren H- Bird Bath

The title of the selected image is Bird Bath. This photo was taken in the third week of September for the Night and Day Assignment. It was taken with a Canon T2i rebel with an extended lens. I edited this photo by bumping up the gamma correction, using an orange photo filter, and bumping up the contrast. This picture could be better if the leaves on the bird bath were cleaned up a little bit in photoshop, there are just some random places that need touch ups. And the quality of the photo could be intensified. I do enjoy the natural sunlight in the background in this photo.

I really like this photo! It’s perfectly exposed, and I like the shallow depth of field in the photo. It really emphasizes the subject. You used the rule of thirds well in this photo, as the bird bath sits squarely on the left third of the photo. I also really like the colors in this photo, they pop out, but aren’t distracting. The photo has a feeling of something that was lost or forgotten about. Overall, amazing photo!

I love your photo! The scene that this photograph presents is wonderful. Your use of the rule of thirds make your photo much more interesting than if you had just taken this shot with the bird bath in the middle. Your editing made the colors pop more. Great job!

The photo is exposed very nicely, I like how the background does not stand out and take away from the birdbath. The use of the rule of thirds makes this photo much more interesting. I really like how this turned out.

I like how you focused on just the bird bath, and the depth of field is nice. The color in the back also makes this photo pretty. It would have been better if you had straightened the picture. Overall its a pretty and calming picture.

I really like how the photo is edited. I think it was cropped perfectly and just enough of the subject is included in the picture. I like how the background is blurred, it allows the bird bath to be the central focus. The picture as a whole has a really calm era about it.

I really love this photo! I like how the back is blurred making the birdbath the focus of the picture. I also like the angling and cropping of the photo. Overall, this is a wonderful picture that has a very soothing and whimsical feel.
