Derek T - Subway Shadows

My photo is titled Subway Shadows and was taken in the depths of the subway station in New York City. It was shot at 1/500th to give it a darkened effect. I increased the contrast and lowered the exposer so just emphasize on the white lights and white pillars. By putting on a black and white filter is gets rid of the distracting color and creates a bolder look. I could have taken it at different angle to create a more dynamic perspective.

I have to say, I like this. It is organized with its centered composition, it's simple, but it's dark and bold. The contrast is perfect and it's very detailed. The black and white really adds to it. I like.

I really like this picture because the black an white makes it look really dramatic. Also, It is pretty mysterious and the lighting makes the picture more bold. Really nice picture!

Derek, the photo is great! You could increase the exposure to make the features more visible on the right. The focus is pretty good because you can see the detail in everything. I like how you made it black and white because it makes the picture tell a story. I really like this photo!

I really like this photo. The lighting really emphasizes the geometry of the photo. I also like how most of the photo is in focus, it makes the photo feel more complete. The black and white filter also helps create a dark mood in the photo. Overall, I really like this photo.

This is an awesome photo, I love the depth of the photo and the different tones of black. It's creepy yet subtle. I like the sharpness of the photo as well. The only thing I would've done to enhance the photo is to brighten it just a little bit more. Nice Work!!!

I really like this picture due to the darkened effect, I also like how the light stands out from the rest of the pictures. The only thing that i would change about the picture is the brightness, I think that he photo would look better if brightened just a little.
I really love this photo, I enjoy photography like this. The editing techniques you used was perfect and helps compliment your photograph. The only thin I would have done differently was take the picture at a different angle. Other than that this photo is awesome! Grace H-HHS

I love the mood of this picture and how you fixed the contrast and the highlights, this is a really good picture and it has a great composition, i really like it. i love the fact that it looks like it would work with both a subject or just as it is. really good shot!
