Jade B- Holding the Past

i edited this picture using aback and white filters and playing with the hue/ saturation of the image and the curves. i took this at my house in my room using the lights i had. i like how it kind of tells a story. i took this picture with a nikon d3100. i was taking a picture of a kodak pony 135

This picture looks really cool! The effect of the hands brings attention to the camera and to the picture overall. I like that the picture is black and white because it brings out the texture of the hands and camera and makes the image look more 3-dimensional. Good job!

This picture is awesome! i love the composition and the lighting. having the slightly angled and off center compassion really adds depth to the shot. The hard but dark lighting gives it a subdued and mysterious vibe. What really helps make this shot is the black and white filter/desaturation of the shot. overall, great!

I really like this picture! i like how you wrapped the strap around the hands to make it look like the camera is actually being held. i also like the black and white you added to the photo to make it look old! great picture

This is an amazing picture! The hands in this mage look almost 3-dimensional. Sometimes when a picture is in black and white it tends to take away some detail but I love how you managed not to do that. Great job!

Great photo! Good choice on using the Black and White filter, and the title is perfect for a piece as nice as this. The hands are so realistic, I feel like their going to jump off the screen at me.

I really like how this picture is black and white because it helps tell the story that you are talking about. The darkness around the edges help focus in on your subject. The hands holding the camera add a nice touch. Overall I think this is a cool photo.

i look the fact the hands melt in to the background but are still part of the picture. i love that it looks black and white it helps the feel of the photo. the only thing i would fix are the spots on the photo and the dust of the kodak camera.

I really like the overall look of this picture. The texture that the hands have really effect the mood. The way that the camera is a focal point by being brighter is nice because it contrasts nicely.
