This picture is called Simple Smiles, I took it a couple of months ago at a cross-country meet when I was working on the portraits assignment. I love how naturally it seems to portray the feeling of happiness at the time and I tried to reenforce that by editing it to increase the color with contrast, saturation, and highlights/shadows. I think it could have been better if I had a better background that didn’t distract from the subject as much.

This is such a pretty picture! I love how in focus your subject is and how the background is slightly blurred. The lighting on your subject is also very nice, the shadows really add to her features. The color is amazing in this image. It looks like it belongs in a movie! This is a great picture, definitely a keeper!

The picture is really nice. The timing was perfect. The picture was captured at an excited moment. The detail in the picture easily shows her excitement. The background makes it better because of the sky. The sky is naturally blue, the clouds are perfect, and the grass is the perfect green. Increasing the saturation, highlights and shadows compliments the picture as well. Tamoria F-HHS
This picture is great!! I love you took the picture while she is laughing because it gives such a great feeling about the picture. I also love how all of the colors are bright and the background is slightly blurred so we can focus more on the subject. Overall though, this picture is awesome!
This picture is amazing. I love the bright colors surrounding the subject with the bright blue from the skies to the green of the grass and the football field in the back. I have to say I like the background with the subject laughing. Even though there are people in the background, the only thing in focus and truly mesmerizing is the girl laughing and enjoying a wonderful day at a cross country meet. Great photo definitely a keeper!
