Zach F - Wall

The title of this picture is “Wall.” I took it in at the back of my local CVS on October 2. I edited the photo by increasing the contrast and shadows. While also increasing the intensity of the red color. The original photo was taken at night and I used my car’s taillights to highlight myself, which made editing the photo a cinch. I feel that this photo could have been a little bit better if the positioning and excess space in the picture was cropped out but otherwise I am really proud of this picture.

I really like this picture because of the contrast of color. I also like the creativity with the lighting from your car. the Red in the picture also draws your eyes to the center of the image and to the subject. I think that if you had just a little more light from another car it would help with highlighting the subject. This picture is definitely a keeper.

I think this is a really cool picture that works with a really cool concept. I think if you had made it so that your entire body was sillouhetted in black and the rest of the scene was highlighted in red or another color that could have added to the effect, but I still really like this. I also think you could have maybe worked with he rule of thirds a bit more, but you do offset the picture with the wall and how it kind of leads your eyes towards the back of he shot. Overall I really like this picture.

I love that you used taillights to achieve the stark red color (obviously along with some color enhancement). I think the editing you used to increase the contrast, thereby creating a silhouette, was a good choice for this kind of picture. I especially love that the light of the taillights complements a normal brick color. I think that the positioning of this picture is fine since the rule of thirds was obviously accounted for and the vignette settings direct the viewers eyes to the center of the picture, the subject. You've made it evident to the viewers that this picture brings about mysterious and secretive vibes. Overall, great job and I think the editing is intriguing.

This is one of the coolest pictures i've seen. The red and back contrast gives the horror movie vibes I think you are attempting to convey. The lighting is distributed well. The only thing I would suggest is positioning yourself in a more revealing way. Although I personally wouldn't want this hanging on my wall, I would certainly consider it as a horror movie poster.

I love this picture because first off, the color red is a vibrant color to use. And the shadow looks very cool. I am inspired to do something like this. Also i personally love bricks as a background.

I love the darkness in the picture and the red and how it looks like the object is a shadow. I also like how each brick has its own little town to it

I really like this picture alot! I love how the focus of the picture is very prominent in the picture but its cool because the light source makes the shape of the picture. I like how you cropped the picture in the center and it just really fits well. I really like it and its definitely a keeper.

This is a Great photo. I like how you used a little creativity in finding a good light source to match what you were trying to capture. The background, lighting, and shadow figure really add to the overall mood and intensity of the picture.

I really like this picture. I love how you had the shadow as the main focus and the red surrounding the shadow, but as you said it would have looked better if the excess black space hadn’t been cropped out. Great Job!
