Madeline T - Merry-Go-Round

I named this “Merry-Go-Round” because it was a Merry-Go-Round that I found In my neighborhood.  I photographed this on the snow day before Christmas when my neighborhood was planning on having a festival.  This was taken with an iPhone 7 plus, and I also used the depth effect mode.  I enhanced the color on this image and also minimized the contrast.  I could’ve made this picture better my making more of the focus on just the zebra.

The main subject is the zebra and it is in focus. It's in sharp focus as well. This photo also contains foreground, middle, and a background. This photo makes me feel happy because of all the colors and snow in the back.

Great photo Madeline! I can tell the main focus of the photo was the carousel but what you really notice is the zebra. This photo has low lighting but it looks really good. I liked the crop that you used. The colors are very vibrant and make the photo pop since it has a lot of snow in it. I'm not sure if it is a third since you cropped the photo. This photo makes me feel like its Christmas. Overall, I like the photo and I think you did a good job. This showcases a lot of colors and you did an amazing job on focussing on your subject. Keep it up.

This is a very cool image. It might have been improved if the depth of field was shallower, so that the zebra would stand out more. The colors are very nice and work well with the snow. The mood seems rather light hearted because of the subject and the feelings associated with snow. Really neat picture.
