Molly B- Kenzie

The title of this image is Kenzie. All of the images were taken earlier in the year for other projects. The  picture of the girl was taken downtown, the blue picture was taken in my kitchen, and the bush was taken in my front yard. The picture of the girl was taken with my real camera but the other two were taken with my phone. I edited it by just blending them together. It could be better if the thing to the left wasn’t there.

Hi Molly! As an abstract piece, I enjoy this picture. It’s visually interesting and varied, and not very chaotic. If had not rad your description below, I wouldn’t have understood what your layers were. I thought at first that I was looking a marble or boiling water, till I realized its blue dye in water and a low-opacity bush. The composition too is strong; everything is placed purposefully and effectively, and carefully abiding the Rules of Thirds. As a criticism, I believe you should lower the bushes opacity on her face, as its the most distracting aspect of the shot. Do what you will, but thats my input.

This photo is very unique in many ways and i like the contrast of bright colors in it. As I see the subject "Kenzie" and the cityscape in the back but also i see the bush in a sea of blue which looks really cool. A way to make this photo better would be to maybe lighten the layer of the bush to show more of her face. Overall this photo is very cool and i love the colors.
