Gabi B - Slopes

This picture is titled “slopes”. I took this picture last month in West Virginia when I went Skiing. I took this with my friend’s iPhone 6s. I edited this picture by increasing the contrast and brightness, I also cropped it. I think this picture could be better if It was a bit warmer and had a bit more sunlight and also if it was sharper. I like how you can see all the fog in between the trees and how far back the trees go.

I love this picture!! I like how you can see the fog in the trees because it gives me that winter feel. I also think you took this at a great angle. Overall, i think you did a great job on this picture. I would definitely hang this on my wall!

Awesome picture Gabby!! I really like how the fog on the top is visible and adds an element of mystery to the photo. I also like how the fog line gives the image 2 parts, the top and bottom.

Really nice picture! I really like how the focus is more on the field and the further you look the less of a focus there is on the trees and slopes. The fog blurs the background and brings out the bright area of the snow. I like the angle that you took this picture as well great work.

Really nice photo. I like that the people in the photo appear to not notice the picture being taken. I also like that the lines of trees fade into the background giving the picture a sense of depth. I probably would have cropped out some of the sky so it wasn't nearly half the photo. Great photo.

Gabi, this is a very cool photo. In regard to a technical area, the exposure is very ideal because the white of the snow and fog are not overexposed to where they are a pure white color. In regard to a composition area, the photo is balanced in the way that the line of fog is in the upper half of the photo, the line of trees is in the very middle of the photo, and the line of snow is in the lower half of the photo. I would think that the photo could perhaps be better if the few people captured in the shot were not there. The shot would be a lot more balanced if it were just the snow, trees, and fog. In regard to an aesthetic area, I really do like this photo and would absolutely consider it a keeper. I think the photo would serve well as a framed photo or computer desktop background. You did a great job on this photo!

Nice picture! The exposure for this image works well by not being so bright the snow looks pure white. The exposure allows the fog in the background to still be seen, which I really like. It is also very balanced considering the people on both sides of the image, and also the trees help to balance the image. I think that this image does tell the story of a fun, winter ski trip. The ski lift helps to define this as the subject. Overall, great job on this image.

I love this picture so much! I really like how the trees in the background have a foggy look. I also like all the people being them self and you can tell they are enjoying life and having fun. This image makes me feel like I am there, it also gives a wintery feel. I would hang this image up! Great Job!

This photo is very nice. I love how the sky is the exact color of the snow and how the trees look smoky. The composition of the photo comes together nicely. I would hang this on my fridge.
