Daniel M-"Dying"

I call this photo “Dying” because the tree is dying and the buildings are old and grown over. I took this photo in Greenville, AL a few months ago. I took this photo with my Nikon D40.
To edit this photo I turned the exposure up a little. To make this photo better I think I should have in zoomed a little to get less of the upper branches in the photo. This is probably one of my favorite photos i have taken this year.

This is a really cool pic! I like the color of the picture and how it is gloomy and it is really good for the setting. The lighting looks awesome and I really like the picture and think you did a good job!

Daniel, this is a very cool photo. In regard to a technical area, I like how the lighting, which I assume is natural sunlight, illuminates everything in this photo. It gives a ironic feeling because you titled the photo “Dying” but what is supposed to be dying is ironically lit up very well. In regard to a composition area, I almost wish you would have cropped less and tried to perhaps include all of the upper branches of the tree, but that is just my opinion. In regard to an aesthetic area, I really do like this photo and would absolutely consider it a keeper. I think it would serve well as a framed photo. You did a great job on this photo!

I really like the picture. I think you could do something better with the editing. Maybe if you used the the original picture and lightned up some spots to makes some detail come out. Also could add a layer of overlay or just change the layer it could add more detail .
