Maci H - Warm Vision

The image I am submitting to the photo blog is “Warm Vision”. I took this during the day on September 18th in my yard while leaning against my car. The picture was taken with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. I used Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 to edit this picture and created the color filter by playing around with the levels and curves on Adjustments. This picture could have been better if I had taken off all of my eyeliner because the eyeliner created a different color on my waterline.

I really like how even though this picture has a lot of edit on it, the eye is still the main focus because of the different colors. The colors create a warm mood and sort of a hippie feel, which is really cool. The color of the shadows aroud the eyes also brings out the overall shape of the eye. All the colors complement each other really well and allow for a nice visual effect. Great Picture!!

I really like this picture because of the effect that the filter has on the iris. The cool reflection looks awesome, especially on top of the differen layers of color that are there. Under the eye looks really cool too. It's neat that even though the color has been completely changed, you can still tell where different colors were originally.

I think this is a really interesting picture. The intensity it brings by the distance is cool. I love the dramatic effect the colors bring. I think the focus on this picture is great, because you can see individual eyelashes and the eye very specifically. The eye is centered pretty well, but I might've moved the focus down a little bit to the whole eyebrow was included in the focus point. I feel like this picture has a serious mood but reveals inner emotions. It's really good.

The warming color is great and i don't really like eye pictures but i like the effect to it. i believe you took this picture because you was bored or in some type of mood. The eyeliner created a good effect to your picture though its not a bad picture.
This image is very unique. The lighting in this picture is very soft but it enhances the the main focus of the image. The colors used here have a wide range of tones. The areas around the eye are more pastel colors and then the eye itself is highlighted due to the vibrance of those warm colors. I like this image because it took an ordinary picture and created a unique version.
