Ben S - Bell

This photo is called Bell. It was taken in my backyard with a Canon XS. I edited it by making the background less saturated and saturating the bell as well as cropping it a bit. I also blurred the background some and sharpened the bell. It could have been better if I had used a longer lens to blur the background more.

I really like this picture. I like how you focused on the bell, it adds an emphasis on the picture. I think the depth of field is perfect for this picture. I like how you used the rule of thirds in this picture. I really like the tone and colors of this picture. Overall this picture is great!

I really love the picture! I like how the bell is giving a old type of look and the rust makes it even better. The background matches up with the feel of the picture making it look somewhat old and dark. The tone and feel of the photo is awesome! I also love how the bell is twisted and how you caught it up close! Good job on this!

I really like this one, I love how you used a low depth of field to really highlight the bell as the main focus. I really like how you did the lighting on this one too, the darkened colors really give a gloomy atmosphere. I also like how you went by rule of thirds to make the bell look better in the picture. Overall the gloomy mood for this photo is very attractive.

Ben you are amazing. Your style of shooting makes me so happy. I like the calm exposure and the depth of field was very appropriate for this image. The color of this image was nice. The use of darks and lights in here was a very nice touch to the image. Thank you for being awesome.

This is an awesome picture! I really like the positioning of the bell and that it isn't straight up and down. I like that you can see all of the bell and that it isn't cut off or only partially shown. I love the coloring and lighting of this picture. I think the way the rust stands out is really pretty. I also love the blurry background and focus on the bell. Great picture!

I enjoy this bell, I think they used the rule of thirds well in this. The rust or chipped paint on the bell ads a nice to to it and I like how the bell was moving when this picture was taken, it is very in focus, and I like it very much.

This is a really cool picture. However, I really like that the bell is not that close, yet still has a sharp enough focus to see all the detail, such as small cracks and rust, in the bell. There was also not a whole lot of color, which may have made your photo even better than it already is. Overall, great job!
