Julia M- Wanting More

This picture is titled “Wanting More”. It was taken 2 weeks ago on my Cannon in my room in front of a mirror. I edited it by adding black and white and adding back some color in small place to give it a little life. It could have been better if I could have controlled the reflection and flash easier. I love this picture because it helps me figure out my own unique look through the lens.

I really like this picture! It has a great balance with the black background, white flash, and blue-ish tint of the camera lens. This photo is very nicely cropped. I like the soft focus that is on you against the sharper focus placed on the camera lens. This photo could have been made more interesting if the composition was shifted to where the subject is more off-center and follow the Rule of Thirds. I would definitely hang this photo on my wall because of the amount of professionalism it shows and because I love this picture so much!

I love this picture. I like the black background with different shades of grey on the hands. The flash adds nice light to this photo. I love the color on the lens of the camera. It makes the photo look extremely nice with the blue and pin color. I love how the photo looks very clean and sharp.

In this photo, the main focus is easily shown due to the color change of the subject. It has a soft focus on the overall photo, other than the hands holding the camera. They are sharper then the main focus. I like how the entire picture is black and white except the bright blue lens. The forehead of the model is too bright due to the flash of the camera used to take the picture. I liked how the caption of the picture gives the photographers feelings on the subject, it made it easier for me to feel those feeling as well when I look at the picture.

This picture is really cool. I like how the picture how the camera lens has a blue tint and everything else is black and white. I also like how the filter added more detail to the hands. The bright spot on the forehead is distracting but, overall its a great picture.
