Kristie M- A Walk to the Beach

This photo is called “A Walk to the Beach”. I took this picture over the long Labor Day weekend while I was at Sandestin with my friends and family. I edited this photo by cropping and increasing the brightness. I really like this picture because it reminds me of the trip and how much fun I had that weekend. The beach is also one of my favorite places to go because of how beautiful and calming it is, if the beach is not crowded. To improve this image, I would have taken it from a higher angle to get more of the beach and some of the sand.

I really like this photo! the depth of field and leading lines are dramatic and make this picture unique. This photo makes me feel like I'm at the beach and actually like the low angle used to take this photo, I think it adds interest.

I really like this image. Just like the other person said.. it does feel like your actually walking on the beach. This photo would have been better if you used the rule of thirds.Other than that it's a very nice photo.

I really like this photo.It really does feel like you are actually walking on the beach. this photo isn't really on a third. overall you did a great job with this photo.
This picture is very good! It makes me want to go and take a trip to the beach. I really like the depth of field in this photo and how you can see where the water meets the sky. The leading lines from the walkway really make you feel like you are about to step onto the beach.

This picture is amazing, the lighting is awesome. The shadows create more lines within the picture and gave it a good balance. The lighting is harsh but in a good way, it bounces off the water and the wood on the deck. The dark and light areas also really bring out the focus on the water and the feeling of the beach itself. The balance is really good. It gives a focus of the deck leading to the beach rather than just focusing on the beach itself. The mood in the story makes it seem really happy and relaxing like I am about to go lay on the beach. It also gives it an exciting vibe of getting ready to go down to the beach. Good Job, I would definitely hang this on my wall!

This picture is beautiful!!!!! I love the way its taken. The shadows and the color to it is very good. It has a good balance. I love the lighting and everything is good. This picture makes me feel like if I'm at the beach also. It makes me happy because i just remember the time i was at the beach in Mexico with my family.
This is a really cool picture Kristie! The exposure and focus give off a really aesthetic theme. I like how centered the end of the board walk is and the colors really stand out from the gray platform. I really like it because it makes me wish I was at the beach.
