This picture was taken at my aunt's house in Mobile two weekends before Mardi Gras. For editing, I only cropped out some wood at the bottom; the lighting was perfect and didn't need work. However, I did darken the picture to bring out some detail. The results were beautiful. The camera was the first camera she ever got. She saved up and bought it when she was seventeen, in the fifties. There is a picture of mobile bay in the background and a… telescope? My uncle likes boating so this is relevant to both of them.

I like how this picture is kinda unique and it somewhat tells a story
I like the antique camera that is in the picture. I always think it’s neat to take a picture of a camera. The light from the lamp is really good and I like the way it shines on the picture behind it. The camera is not in the dead center of the picture and I like that it draws your eye to it.

I dont know why but i just couldn't stop looking at this photo. I really like the detail of the picture in the back and also of the camera it look so beautiful i just wish the other side had a little more light. I just really looked how you used the rule of thirds.

Great Photo! I really like how there are many components and subjects in the photo, that draws one's attention to many different aspects of the photograph. I also really like how the camera is more centered than anything else, because that is what I really like out of all the objects in the photo. I also like the contrast of light from the left side of the photo to the right side of the photo, which gives a nice looking effect. Overall, great job.

I really love this picture!
The earthy colors create a very vintage-y look but also a sense of warmth in the picture.
I love how the picture has multiple layers to and therefore it is complex and exciting. The lighting is perfect, and I love how the light on the painting angles down creating a line for the eye to follow down to the camera.
The subject is complex and interesting. The camera has a lot of visual character--because it looks old, but well loved--as well as emotional character--from what I know from your description. Also from your description, I personally glean an appreciation for the different subjects and love how they all tie in together in almost a story.
There are a few things I would change about the editing of the picture, however. I would turn down the saturation of the wall, because I feel the bright rich red distracts from the simplicity and character of the subjects. I also would blur the background (everything except the painting, lamp, and camera) a little more than it already is, again to focus the eye on the story of the subjects.
Great job!
