Mariah M.- Burnt Snow

This is a picture I took from my front porch on our snow day. I call this picture "burnt snow" because it reminds me of a marshmallow on a s'more. I honestly have no idea what I did to get it to look like this… All I know is that I was trying to make a composite picture and this is what I ended up getting.. it was honestly a mistake making this. I love this picture more than any other picture I made.. But I never could re-create it.

The more I look at this picture the more I like it. The tree branches are my favorite part of the picture. I don't know what filter you used but it looks cool. I like the composition too, it's not like that cliched composition of being under a tree and looking up at the branches and the sky. Awesome.

Mariah M.,
I really like this photo. The snow actually looks like a big burnt marshmallow. I also like how you added the filter to it, it really makes every detail stand out. Overall this is a real cool photo!

I really like this picture. I like how everything is in focus, even the trees in the background, but there is still a clear foreground, middle, and background. I love the way the snow turned out looking, with it looking like a burnt marshmallow kind of thing on the branches and right in front, but then it kind of looks like water as you look farther into the image. It is really interesting to look at and I love the filter or whatever you did to this picture!
