Shelby S - The Lyric

The title of this photo is “Lyric”. This was taken in downtown Birmingham and it was taken on August 20th at around 2:30 in the afternoon. It was taken with a Canon EOS T4i camera. I edited it by adding more saturation and increasing the vignette to focus on the actual building. I think it could’ve been better by increasing the vignette a little more and possibly going at a time closer to sunset.

I absolutely love this picture. I think the color of the picture is really cool. I also love that the picture has so many colors in it but, it's not over done. It's balanced. I think it has really good lighting as well.

I really enjoy this photo! I am loving the how well the colors look next to each other and how they look full of life. The only critique I really have is that you could've edited the lyric sign to make it pop out a little more. Since it is the focus of the picture it needs to stand out, and currently it almost blends into the background. Otherwise, the placement of and saturation of the photo is really beautiful. -MO HHS

This image is amazing! I feel like it's difficult to capture a good lighting in city landscapes, but with all of the colors in the background and the pinkish hue coming off of the 'lyric' sign itself really makes it pop!

I think this photograph is such a beautiful representation of downtown Birmingham. I think you did a great job on the lighting in this photo, as it fits perfectly with the colorful background, and enhances the subject of your photo. I like that there is a contrast of light and dark areas of your photograph. All of the different elements in this photo make it unique and interesting.

I think this photo is absolutely beautiful. I love the way the green and blue tints of the windows contrast with the pink tint of the building. I love how the "Lyric" sign really is the main star of the show and I love how it's not too overbearing as well. Well done!

I like the picture but Im tiered of you using this picture, I have noticed you've used this picture three times already for other assignment. Do something new for god sake.

The picture could use a little more balance or try using a warm or cool filter. I'm don't know what feeling your trying to give.
