Christine G - Ruby

The title of this picture is Ruby. This picture was taken a few weeks ago for the closeup assignment.  It picture was taken with my sony camera. I edited this picture by adding more brightness and contrast to the picture. I also added a new layer where i colored the frame of the ring with a light purple shade. This picture would be much better if the background was more smoother and there were no light reflecting on the ring.

i like how the ring is brighter on one side than the other and i also like how the ring may be placed in the center but its not a fully face on shot. i like this photo but the only thing i would change is the ring looks like its painted red in some parts

Wow, nice picture the ring is beautiful. I like how the ruby is bright and takes aways all the attention in the picture. The sharpness of the picture is great as well as the color.

I like the focus of the ruby ring and how well it contrasts with the background. Also, I like the cropping and how nicely it centers the subject. Lastly, I like the mysterious mood of this picture.

This picture is really cool! I love how focused the picture is and how the ruby in the ring really seems to pop! I love the gray background. GOOD JOB!!

I really like how the light reflects off the ring; it gives it a lot of depth. The details are exquisite and I like how close up it is. The color is good as well as the contrast. the ring on the black background gives it a mysterious look. This photo reminds me of a picture on a book cover. Really nice image!

Coo pic!!!!!!!!!!! I really like this picture and that all the attention or focus is on the subject. The ring is very clear and the color of the stone really pops on the black and white background! This picture could be better if the subject was maybe centered and straight, but I would definently hang this on my wall!
