Rebecca S-Sunset Keys

This picture is called Sunset Keys and it is a composite image. The piano was taken in August, the sunset was taken a few days ago, and the other picture was taken in Sausalito, California. I applied the Darker Color Blending Option to the Sausalito picture and the Darken Blending Option for the sunset and layered them on the piano. I added a color layer to color the sunset a little more vibrant and adjusted the levels. It could be better if the sunset looked a little more realistic and less painted but overall i like this picture.

This is a cool photo. It has very good depth. It almost looks 3D. The lighting in the landscape is good and there is good contrast between the sky at the top and the bay at the bottom. It is centered pretty well and there is good light and dark areas of the photo. The only thing I would change about it is I might go in and either add image in the corners or add a plain background just so there would be something going on in the corners of the photo. Other than that it is a pretty cool photo.

I really like this picture. The field of depth is really good. I really like how the fore ground is the shore line, the middle are the buildings, and the background is the sky. This picture puts me in a really clam mode. I really like the sun set in this picture, I just love those colors that are mixing. I would defiantly hang this on my wall.

I like this picture, it's really good. The lighting is bit dark around the piano though, but the colors on the actual keys make up for it. I really how the colors look in the sky and how they are mixing to create something cool. Overall I really like this picture.

I really like this picture. I love how the piano is clear and shows the city in the background. I also love how you can see the sunset in the back layer o the top of the photo. I wouldn't do anything to change with picture. Overall it's really good!

Rebecca, this is a very cool image! I love how the sunset and Sausalito images are coming through the white keys of the piano. In regard to a technical area, the lighting of the image is very good. I like how the piano itself is very dark but the sunset and Sausalito coming through the keys are very bright. In regard to a composition area, the photo is very balanced. I imagine the image as this black rectangle with a bar of bright features traveling diagonally across that black rectangle, so it feels very balanced to me. In regard to an aesthetic area, I really do like this image and would consider it a keeper. I think it would serve very well as a computer’s desktop background. You did a great job with this photo!

This has a very intriguing look on it. I love the way you named the photo, I just wish I could see the sunset as well rather than the bay. I specifically love the background and foreground. I think that the colors I see... Work together in my opinion. I can see a story, because I think the photo expresses your time at Sausalito and I believe you enjoyed all your time there. I wouldn't keep the photo though, sorry. It's just not my type of photo.

Great job in this image. I love how the inner part of the piano has very good quality and how nice the sunset looks. It seems to be very original and natural. Nice job.

Interesting photograph. The fade of the different pictures inside the composite is well-blended. The black keys on the keyboard make a nice effect across the background. The lighting is also nice, and the background's red-orange color in the sky is a nice touch. The feel of the photo is very calming and nice, but not too dark. Good job.

I like how the piano is really dark everywhere that wasn't covered by the sunset. I also really like the diagonal lines going through the piano. I really like this photo because of the story it is telling

Absolutely love this picture. Its so abstract but then very clear at the same time. All of the lighting is even and the diagonal of the piano adds a really nice effect to the image. I think the whole idea of layering the sunset into the piano was brilliant. I would most definitely say that this is a keeper !

I love this picture! I love how the keyboard has the picture of the water and sunset on it! This is a very unique picture. I like how the colors are dark and the keys on the keyboard are brighter. The lighting looks great! I like how the main focus of the image is of the keyboard. This is a great picture!
