Daniel M - "Roof"

The title of my picture if “Roof”. I took this a few weeks ago downtown. I took this with my nikon D40. to edit this photo i turned the brightness up a little. To make this photo better i would have backed up a little to get more of the building in the photo.

This picture is dope. I feel the depth of field is good but I do agree that it would've been better if it was more zoomed out. The details and composition is great though. I just really like it overall.

Daniel, this is a very cool photo. I really like how the building is sitting in the photo. It is very appealing to the eye. In regard to a technical area, I really like the lighting because it is making every aspect of the building very clear and defined to the eye. In regard to a composition area, the balance in my opinion is very good. In the lower left corner of the photo is the building and in the top right corner is the white cloud. That creates this very solid feeling of balance to me. In regards to an aesthetic area, I really do like this photo and would absolutely consider it a keeper. I think it would serve well as a framed photo or a desktop background. You did a great job with this photo!

I think this photo is cool. The positioning of the building provides an interesting perspective. The exposure seems just right to set a mood - slightly dark, yet not too much. The saturation of the sky isn't too overdone, which is nice to see. The leading line of the building, and the parallel power lines are very cool. I like the crop, if you did happen to crop it in. I think you could have maybe made the building itself a little warmer, but that is all personal preference.
