Samantha D-In the River

I took this picture when i went with the environmental class on their canoe trip to get pictures for the yearbook. Everyone was looking for different types of bugs in the river and the tour guide found this one. I enhanced the contrast, exposure, and the saturation

Wow, this picture is really cool. I really like the focus that you have incorporated into the picture. The picture has the subject, which is the insect, in focus while the background is blurred out. This helps put more focus on the subject of the picture. I also like the fact that you put the main subject in the center of the frame. Putting the subject on a third would have made the picture less effective. Overall, I think that this is a very good picture. Good Job!

I really like the focus of the picture. I like how the hand and the bug is really crisp, and the background is blurry. I also like how the background is darker than the foreground, and it really makes the hand stand out. The only thing I could say to make this better would be to crop out the hand in the background, but other than that this photo is great!

I love the detail of the hand and the bug. The detail of the mud really makes my hand feel dirty. Almost everyone used to gid up bugs when they were younger, so the texture and detail are very relatable for the viewer. I like this picture a lot!
