Jessica P- Emme

This picture is of one of our cats, Emme, while she was waiting at the door one morning.  The blue wall and white door were split behind her, so when I used the cut out filter in Photoshop it made the colors blend nicely over her face and the background.  I really like the way the filter worked out.

Cool photo. I really like the effect of the filter to make the picture split half and half in terms of color. Although there are three types of colors, there are various tones and ranges of each color. I also especially like how the cat is centered and in focus. The colors also make the photo have a pictorialist quality as well. Again, very nice job.

I like how Emme is in the center of this photo, and that she's actually looking at you. I really like how the filter split the colors and blended them nicely.

I love this picture a lot! I like the different colors and how they are blended together just right. The colors look great together. I also like the texture used in the picture. It brings out the detail in the fur. And of course I love the facial expression on the cat! Good Job!

This is really cool and well done. Usually something along these lines would appear to just be overedited, but this looks like a cartoon vectorization. However, the contrasting colors of the cat could be fixed.

This looks really cool. The focus its great because you can see the details. The color looks really good with the blending colors between the turquoise and the tan. I would defiantly keep this picture.

Jessica,

I love this picture! It has that whole "pop art" feel to it. The colors in this picture work FABULOUS together! Also, I like how you left the cat's head tilted!

Keep up the great work :)

the hard lighting in this picture is really good, it makes the kitty kind of blend in and start to fade. the colors are interesting in this picture but they work really well. this picture makes me feel like the cat is just saying "where ya goin buddy?" just makes me smile

I really liked how the picture turned out... with the filter it looks more like a painting. I liked the colors you used, it would look too busy if you used bright contrasting colors. Wonderful job! So professional!

This is awesome! The first thing I noticed about the picture is that Emme's eyes are two different colors. It's really cool how it comes off. I also think you did a really good job with the blending. And the fact that the background is two different colors brings out Emme's face more. Emme's clearly the focus, and it almost feels like a really good ad or something in a magazine. Good job!
