Ryan S- The Lonely Flower


I called this picture "The Lonely Flower."  This is my favorite photo because I liked how much the yellow on the flower popped out in the foreground.  The lighting was somewhat shady where I took the picture, so the yellow was not very bright to start off with.  That way when I took the picture, there were no bright spots I had to deal with.  I edited this photo by adjusting the levels, removing some flowers in the background using the clone stamp tool, and used the hue and saturation to boost the yellow in the flower.

I really like this shot that you took!! I love the way the yellow "pops!" Also, you did a great job using the Rule of Thirds to create more interest. Great job!
