Megan C- Red Film

The title of this image is “Red Film’ because the Converse are red and the image edit looks like it was taken with a film camera. I took this a month ago outside of my house on the sidewalk. I took this image with my Nikon D3400 and edited it using the film grain effect in Nik Collection. I also lowered the contrast and increased the sharpness. It could be better if the shoelaces were placed differently, but I’m really proud of the outcome. In the future I hope to do more edits using this effect.

This photo is awesome, I love how you have the logo in focus and you can see the detail in the shoe. I also like how you didn't make the color outrages, everything seems controlled and it looks like you knew what you were doing. I do think you could've taken a wider shot so we could see more of the shoes. Overall a great photo. -HC

The exposure of the picture is very well chosen. The color and focus is also great. but more of the shoes would've been better. Overall this is a great picture and I love the saturation and background out of focus.

This image is very good the way the shoes are set up like an old school movie. I also like that the first shoe is clear while the second shoe is kind of cloudy. I also like that the words are clear on the back of the shoe.

The focus and sharpness of the canvas material the shoes are made of is very interesting and eye catching. I feel like someone could stare for a long time just trying to see all the details in the photo. I like how, even if unintentional, the stitches of the shoes and the placement of the converse logo makes it so that the eye is directed to the white and black logo surrounded by red. For some reason, the mix of a shoe I'm familiar with and the film style edit, this picture makes me feel nostalgic. Awesome picture!

I really like this photo, not only because of my obsession over converse, but because of the dark element and tones incorporated into it. The saturation and contrast levels are amazing! This is a really great photo overall, although I wish that it had just a tiny bit more definition to make those lines on the canvas stand out.

This picture is really cool! I love how simple the colors are together but the sharpness of the photo really makes them stand out. The detail are capture so well around the distress and stitches along the seams. Really good!

I liked the way this picture came out. The focus on the picture is really good and I liked the way the color changes on the shoe to different shades of red. I think the picture could be better if it was focused more on the bottom shoe. But overall a really good photo.

This picture is really awesome. I love how you can really see the detail in the shoes like the stitching. I also like the contrast and how the red color really pops. I like how the red isn't overpowered but at the same time it stands out. I really think you did a nice job with this picture.

This picture is really cool, I really like how you edited the whole thing and how the colors came out to be with a blue/grey type of color. The focus on the main shoe really stands out because it's so clear and the one in the background makes it even better with the blurriness effect to it. Very well done!

This is a very detailed picture! using saturation in the shot really lets the shoes POP out! DOF definitely works in this shot and I think it is overall a nice picture!

I love this picture! It's very detailed in any way and I love the way that one shoe is a bit burly and the other one is so perfect. This picture could not get better.
