Kat N- Genuine Happiness

The image I chose is to represent genuine happiness. This picture was taken at my neighborhood pool at the beginning of the school year. I used my phone to capture the photo. I changed the contrast, brightness, and the sharpness of the picture. This image could have been better if the background were clearer and if I hadn’t cut off her hands in the image.

I like that the picture is in black and white. Her face does look genuinely happy. I love swimming so I can relate quite a bit with the feeling of being happy in water. I agree with Kat that it would be better if her hands weren't cut off and if the pool looked clearer

I really like this photo. I truly think that you captured her happiness in this picture.the camera is in perfect focus and has great composition towards the water. The glare off the water frames the girl very nicely as well. I would not change anything about this image.

I really like the way the picture looks in black and white especially since a lot of people don't try doing a black and white. I think the picture could be a little better if the side of her face was brighter. But overall it is a very good picture I really like the way the water brings some other white color textures to the picture and juts looks good all together overall.

I think this picture came out incredible! The black and white aspect gives the contrast even more vibrancy and the water seems so much more pure and delicate, which helps with the theme of being genuine. I think the happiness captured on her face and that added with the location of the picture gave a feeling of real pool fun, as if the perfect ad for what people want in the summer time.

I really enjoy this picture. I like it in the black and white because it makes it look more vintage and simple. I also love how the reflection on the water is so clear. This picture has really good focus. She looks very happy in the picture and it makes me happy. Good job!

I really love this picture because I feel like you were able to capture a very real moment in someone's life where they truly felt happiness. The black and white edit on the picture was an amazing choice as it really brings out the contrast between the shadows and the highlights of the photo. I think the cropping in the photo is good because it keeps the veiwe's attention on her face! I wouldn't change anything about this picture!
