Hudson C- Lake

Lake was taken at lake Wilborn about 2 months ago. It was taken with a Nikon D40, and edited with the editing settings in the photo app. I wish it was a bit darker and spookier, the only way I could get this picture was if I stood in the water, so I took this photo in the water.

I think the lighting of the picture and the serenity of the lake really gives off the eerie feeling you were looking for. The dedication to be in the water sounds pretty committed, I would suggest having tried to get a lower shot so the tree in the water seems bigger and the mountains seem farther. Also if it helps, when wanting to make a picture darker, you could go into Photoshop, filters, Nik Collections, and Viveza 2 can let you lower or brighten the picture and that might help you getting the lighting you wanted. Overall it's a pretty calm, strong picture that I think came out pretty nicely. Good job !

I really like this photo. The colors look so pretty reflecting onto the water. All the reflections look really cool. I think it would have looked good too if it was darker as well but this look also looks very well. The contrast between the pink and how it gets darker gives it a very peaceful vibe. Good Job!!!

I really like the simplicity of this picture. There's not anything too distracting in it, and thats why it appeals to me. It is also cool how with the reflection, it looks like the tree trunk travels really deep underwater. I also like the reflection on the water of the big group of trees in the background.
