Macy M - A Moment in Time

This image is called “A Moment in Time”. This was taken in the evening at Living River, a retreat on the Cahaba. This a was taken with a Canon Rebel XS. On this image, I added the chrome filter, darkened the image, bumped up the saturation and contrast, sharpened the image, added a little definition, reduced the noise, and added a slight vignette. I wish the inner circles were a little more in focus, but besides that I like the image. If anyone wishes to recreate an image like this, with the colors in the lens, put a UV lens on the camera you are taking a picture of.

I love this image. I like the colors that are on the lens and I love the blur on the background so that the focus could be n the lens. I think the image balances well. The image makes me happy because of all the bright colors. I wish the lens were completed with the color but I still love the image. Betsy B. HHS

I love how the lens of this image is in focus while the background is soft. I think that the balance of the colors in this image are very good. I really love this picture and I love that this picture is taken at one of my favorite places!

I really like how clearly you can see the camera and the reflection inside. The black on the fingernails balances well with the darkness of the camera, and the vibrant purple in the lens is very cool. I might hang this in my house. This image is very nice, good job!

Macy! This is such a good picture! I really like that you bumped up the color to show some color in the lens of your camera. The blur from the back really helps make me focus on the lens which works very well. I rally like it. I really like the balance of colors you used, not too light and not too dark. i would definitely hang this in my room! It is really good!

This picture is close to perfect. The shot angle in perfectly flat, the asymmetry of the camera, the light reflection in the lens, the way the light cuts off towards the bottom, the quality of the picture, the focus on the hands and person in the background... I'd say this shot is close to a professional level.

I really like this picture and the variety of colors you managed to incorporate, especially within the lens. I think the bright background really makes the lens and the reflection in the lens stand out and draw y eyes into the picture. I like that it's a little off center, using the rule of thirds a bit. My biggest critique is that it is pretty blurry and shows a lot of noise as soon as you make the picture bigger. I think if you had been able to avoid all of that noise then this would have been a really amazing shot. An beyond that one thing this is definitely something I'd be willing to hang on my wall.

The colors in the lens are really pretty! I like how the entire lens is in focus and the background is lighter, and the lens is dark. It makes it stand out! The cropping of this image is really nice and the colors in the lens are so cool. This photo has a relaxing mood and it is definitely a keeper!

The colors in the lens look really cool, the picture is centered pretty good and has a good contrast. Id keep it or try to recreate it because ive never seen someone do this lens trick that you did.
