Tajane C- Melting Brass

I title this image Melting Brass because I am in love with the way the brass looks and all the colors and how they blend and swirl  together as if they were melting`. This image was taken October 6, 2015 at 5:00 which was a great time to capture the lovely balance of sunlight around this time of day. It was taken with my iPhone 6 and I edited it through iPhoto. This picture could have been better by taking it with a real camera so it could have had better details and focus.

Cool Picture! I like the sharp focus on the first tuba in line with slightly softer focus the next tubas. This helps show the depth in the image and the line that they are following. I also like how the Tubas are centered yet they still spread out as if rule of thirds was in place. There are also so many colors in this image that make it have a psychedelic vibe. I really like the lines and colors in this image. It gives off a happy mood that I really enjoy. Good shot. Matt-H-HHS

I love your photo so much, I would hang this on my wall, and tape it onto the whiteboard in the band room. I think that the focus is shown clearly, as they are the tubas. I love the title of your name as well, and the reflection on the tubas. I love the colors in this photo, because I can see a LOT of colors all blending in to balance. I would keep this, and I feel as if you are entirely happy while taking these photos, and I can see the happiness in the photo. Again, great job, hoover band is great, and keep up the great work.

Wow, this is a really cool picture! I like how the tubas’ metal is gleaming with nearly every color imaginable. Some other more obscure details I like are the green slight curvature of the earth and the harsh shadows protruding off the right side. The almost look like sidewards letters, spelling something out. Anywho, there isn’t too much I would recommend sniping out. Maybe some of the tippy top can be cropped out, as the picture seems too vertical and top-heavy in a balance sense, but otherwise, nothing can really be done to make it better, in my opinion. Very solid piece, if only it weren’t taken on an iPhone.
