Rebecca S- McWay Falls

The title of this image is McWay Falls and this is of McWay Falls in Big Sur, California. This was taken the summer of my freshman year. I took this with my Nikon Coolpix L320 and i edited it by increasing the contrast, definition, and temperature and decreasing the exposure. One way this could be better is if it was taken on a tripod so there wasn’t any camera shake because the trees are a little blurry.

I really like this photo! The field of depth in this photo is perfect. This photo contains a perfect balance of fore, middle, and background. This image puts me in a relaxing mood and I wold definitely hang this on my wall.

Awesome picture! The focus for this picture is sharp, which brings out the detail of the rocks. I like how the Rule of Thirds is followed by having the waterfall offset from the center. Also, the mood I feel, of calmness and relaxation, is very well portrayed.

I think this photo is great. The exposure isn't too much or too little, and allows for just the right lighting to capture the moment. I also like the color in the water, as it isn't too saturated so that it looks fake, but at the same time isn't desaturated like is seen with some filter-looking effects people use. Everything seems to be in focus, which makes it a very clear and clean photo.

I like this picture, but i feel like it could be a little better. I love the location of the picture and the scenery, but the color could be boosted a little. I also feel that it could be a little sharper, and that some of the detail is a little too soft. Still great scenery and overall good picture though!

This picture is just precious! i love the angle and the color of the water. If the water in the back was the same color as the water in the front it would look better but it's still great! I love landscape pictures and this is one of my favorites I have seen. Maybe if there saturation was higher it would be even better? The lighting is good too! Amazing picture

I really like this photo, the waterfall is pretty, and the color of the water is a very soft/clear blue. I like how the photo was taken as the wave was breaking, and that there are some rocks in the water. you could try to get more of the lighter blue water in the picture instead of the darker water in the background, but overall great picture!

This picture is really nice too look at and I enjoy it. The way the water and seam foam hit the shore and the rocks makes the picture interesting. Right now it just looks a little bland, I think that the colors could have been increased and brightened to enhance them. There also isn't anything to focus on, I am not sure what the subject of the shoot is, maybe if either the rocks, water, etc was made a focus it would help draw a person's eye in.
