Rajiv P - Racquet Ball

The title of this image is Racquet and ball. It was taken a couple of weeks ago, outside my house, in the cul de sac. It was taken with a Cannon Powershot 160. I enhanced the image and added a filter (Boost). I also darkened the image and turned up the saturation. The definition and highlights was turned up to 100. Exposure, contrast , and saturation were all turned up. I wish I would have took the picture at a tennis court, because it would have made the perfect back ground and tie the picture all together.

I really like the contrast between the colors and the black on this picture. The colors are very saturated and they draw my eyes in. Also the tennis rackets use straight lines to lead your eyes to the tennis ball in the corner. This picture would be more impactful if the background was a solid neutral color instead of the harsh pavement. Overall it is a really cool picture and I can tell that the photographer may be a tennis player.

I like the entire lighting and exposure of this picture. It’s really bright, and visually appealing. In this picture, I’m perceiving the tennis ball as the main subject, and I think that the racquet frames it quite nicely. I think if this picture was taken on grass, it would provide a great background and a better contrast between the grass and the strings. Overall, this picture has a positive and optimistic appearance to it that I really like.

I really like the how the focus is on the middle of the racquet and not going through to the ground. I know this is very hard to focus the small strings. I also like the fore and background use with the ball behind the racquet. I also like how the colors and shapes make the photo look three dimensional. I really like this photo and it is definitely a keeper.

Cool picture. I like how the racquet looks 3d instead of just laying flat. The depth is really cool. It is also cool how the bottom of the picture is in focus and as the top is more abstract. It adds even more depth to the photo. The color is really cool too. The neon of the tennis ball pops off the ground and there is good contrast between the background and the racquet. I really don't know much about tennis but I could see someone who does really liking this picture and hanging it on their wall.
