Riley Y - Balance

I called this photograph Balance, because I think it fits well with the principle of balance. It was taken in Mentone, Alabama on August 2. When I edited this picture, I turned up the saturation, definition, highlights, sharpness, and temperature. I think it could be better if there was more light on the cliff in the center of the picture.

The colors look amazing. I also like how shiny the water is. The shadow from the cliff is really cool. You did an amazing job on this photo.

The image is looks like it is exposed properly. The shot is centered more and doesn't seem to have any specific object as the focus of the shot. I like the photo because it captures a really unique area and looks very cool.

Personally, I love how it captures a beautiful scene and how it is focused on the water and the cliff. I like all the colors that are in this photo and how it really has a nice feeling of calmness. I can picture myself standing there and hear the water going down the cliff in a soothing form. I also like you balanced it very well and got everything that makes this photo pretty. I like how it has the shadow on the cliff just because you can tell the sun was out and thats where the sun didn't hit it. This photo captures the actual moment that was happening. I think its a very great photo! Great Job!!!!!

I like the lighting in this picture; it’s bright in the right areas, and darker in the right areas too. The waterfall makes a really cool sorta diagonal line from the top to the bottom of the picture. The overall mood of this picture is really positive, and looks great.

I really like this image. I think the contrast between the dry and wet parts of the rocks is good. I like how well you captured the different details of the rocks. I also think the small amount of green plant you included was a good touch. I think you could have edited the image a little more and made the contrast a little more defined.

Great job! The main subject is in sharp focus, which really works well with the smooth stone in the background. There is a great use of color range with mostly dark, cooler colors in this picture. The colors are just vivid enough to capture attention. I like this photo because it conveys a sense of serenity with the tucked away waterfall in the background.

This is a very cool photo. It has cool depth and good natural lighting. There is something going on in every section of the photo and each thing s very focused. There is also good contrast between the wet rocks and the dry rocks which adds even more depth to the photo. I would definitely keep this photo.
