Matthew W- Sharp Door

I named this picture “Sharp Door” because it was a broken window that someone used to get into the building. It was taken at an abandoned country club with my nikon D80. I edited it by changing the level, making it black and white, and cropping it. It could have been better if there was more glass where it was focused so that it would be more interesting to look at.

great picture! i like the angle this picture was taken at and the light reflection on the glass. the only thing i would do different is focus it on the door seal. Great job!

I really like this picture! Especially how focused it is on the glass. I like how you cropped it too, it has just enough of the background to show where the glass came from. It has a sad mood, like broken things.

I really like this picture! I like how the glass is shattered and the background. I think you did a good job cropping it and i like the filter because it gives it a sadness look.

I like how the glass in the background is in a softer focus than the shards of glass in the foreground which are in a sharper focus. Plus, the edge of the window pane makes the picture look nice because it is a diagonal line. Although the black and white gives it a dark mood, the picture still has really good lighting and overall, is a really nice photo.

I really like that the window is included in the picture. I like how some of the glass is in focus and other pieces are not. The picture has a really dark feel to it due to the black and white filter. I think the lighting is nice and it adds to the mood. I think if you included a little more of the actual window it would look even better.

Great photo! I like the shallow depth of field a lot. The black and white filter also looks good. Good job!
