Ella P- Across the River

I took this photo over Columbus Day weekend when my parents and I went to New York City. I entitled it “Across the River” because across the Hudson River is New Jersey. I took the photo with my iPhone 6 in Battery Park. I increased the sharpness and highlights in this photo as well as the shadows. i wish I was able to get more of the cityscape in the photo. I really like this photo because of all the colors in the sky and the textures in the water.

I like the reflection of the sky off the water. I also like the colors of the sky. The textures of the water are great. Only if you turned a little to the right.
I really like the depth of field in this photo makes you focus more on the far center of the buildings. There is a nice balance in this picture and I really like the way the waters light reflects and brings out the ripples in the sea. I think that you could have made it better by not cutting out the building on the right.
I love This SOOOOOO MUCH. New York is one of my favorite places on earth this picture is composed beautifully i think you couldve maybe out it itn a better focus but thats it:]
I really like this photo! The depth of field is really good and i like how there is a lot going on in the picture. The reflection off of the water gives it a nice touch also. The only thing I would change is to not cut out the buildings on the right side. But overall, I really like this photo!

This picture is really nice! The lighting in this picture is nice because it gives a nice contrast between the sky and the buildings. I think you should have taken the picture more to the right so that some of the buildings weren't cut off. I also like the colors of the picture and how you can really see the texture of the water and sky. Overall I like this picture!

I really like this picture. I like how the sky reflects on the water and the sky blends in with the sky. I also like how the buildings barely shows and the sky and the water take up most of the picture. The picture could have been better if you either centered the buildings or make the buildings go across the while picture. Overall this picture is very good and I really like it.

Nice picture. The horizon is positioned almost perfectly in a way pleasing to the eyes, but the empty space to the left could be smaller or larger The lighting is okay and the clouds above the city look very nice. The city itself is well-set in the picture. You could do with more or less of sunlight. Still, overall a good photograph.

I like this picture because it shows the beautiful skyline of New York. I absolutely love New York and your picture maybe me feel as if i was visiting the city again. I like the sharpness of the pictures and how bright it is. A way to enhance the pic could be to add more saturation give the clouds more color.
