Sarah P- Brushes

I took this picture during school one day of some brushes that I got from the art hall. I really like the orientation of the brushes and how they are angled. To edit this image I played with the levels and made it black and white. Then i reduced the opacity to around 30 percent to allow for the antiqued look. I really like this image, but i feel it could have more added to the image, like some paint or a painting.

I like how their is a soft lighting. The dark brushes stand out against the white background. I really like how you made the picture look antique. Good job, i would keep it.

This is such a fabulous picture!

I love the contrast between the dark color of the brushes and the bright white of the background.
I love how the white creates a sense of light in the picture, and how some of the detail in the cloth is retained, creating a clarity in the image. I love how the brushes are clear and in focus in the front and fade towards the back.

The picture is simple and crisp, and I love that.

A few things I would change are: I'd increase the shadows of the background and blur it a little to create a more mysterious look, and would increase the saturation slightly on the brushes to make them stand out even more against the white.

Great picture!

This picture is really cool. The focus is on the brushes. I really like how you made the picture have an antique look to it. I also like the contrast of the brushes and the cropping and how you cannot see the whole brush. Overall you did a good job.

The lighting in this picture is very nice because its soft lighting, which, with the white background, works really well, but the lighting is not too soft so that there is no shadow and contrast in the picture. The leading line from the end of the brushes to the bristles of the brush really draw the eye to the center of the picture, where the colors are more vibrant and the focus is better. Overall, I like this picture because it is very clear and the coloring is muted, which looks good for this subject.
