Cole G - Piano

I took this picture of a keyboard for the close-up assignment. I really like this photo because of the composition with the keys lined up and shallow depth of field. I also really like the black and white filter because it emphasizes the textures and shapes of the keys.

I really love the depth of field
in this picture. It really draws you in and i like how you can see the light coming off the key i think it very beautiful and i like the white and back it gives it a very nice old feel.

Cool photo! I really like how you have a different perspective of the piano. When I took a picture of a piano I only took it straight above, and only a few keys were in the photo. This method however incorporates much more of the photo, and the perspective adds to the "never ending" feel from the photo. I also like how the picture is black and white, because it goes well with still life. I also like how the center of the keyboard is in the center of the photo. Overall, Great Job!

Great great picture! I love the angle and how that the picture offers me a new perspective on an object I see so often, it becomes mundane. Good job with making it fascinating and special.

I also like the black and white edit you did, because it creates a classic and intense mood in the picture, which I feel characterize the keyboard very well.

The one thing I would change is to make the picture more focused. Once I pulled the picture up large, it became plain that the focus (on the fourth key from the right) could be a little bit better.

Other than that, fabulous job!
