Johannes S- Ball

I chose this image from the Still Life Assignment and called it "Ball". I edited this image by making it grayscale at first, and then by cropping it. Then, I edited the image by adding a gradient layer, as well as coloring some parts of the image darker on a new layer. Afterwards, I also adjusted the black and white settings of the image. This image represents who I am because it shows how I like sports, especially soccer.

I really like this picture. The black and white effect brings out the detail, and I like how the lighting brings the focus to the top of the ball. Overall its a great picture! Catherine S- HHS

I really like this picture i like the lighting and how you made it black and white the logo on the top and the signatures on it really add to the detail the one thing i think could be better is that you could make it a little more lighten on the bottom part

Great Photo! I really like the black and white feature of the photo that tells a story of the antique, but yet, loving aspect that you have for the ball. I really like how the bottom of the picture is dark, and the top of the picture is very light. I like how the picture is cropped, so the photo only focuses on the main subject, the ball. I also like how the text on the ball is facing the viewer, and it gives another interesting aspect to the photo. Overall, fantastic job.

Johannes S.,
I really like this photo, it's very nice. I like how all the focus is centered on the top of the ball, especially how the light is like the spotlight on the ball. I also like how it goes from light to dark, (top to bottom). The way the signatures are focused in on and are clear is very cool.

I really like the dramatic lighting used on the picture to give it a more serious feeling to it. I also like how it caused darker shadows in the stitching in the ball. I wish the writing towards the bottom of the ball were just as sharp as at the top of the ball, but other than that, great picture.
